Really good food

Food was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because being in a hotel (Crowne Plaza) you almost assume it will be second rate. Not the case. Between us we had the Red Caesar salad, a filet, spicy shrimp with penne, and a carrot cake. All good. The lady serving was pleasant, but the staff... read more

We recently stayed had a funeral to attend in New Jersey and stayed at the Crowne Plaza. We booked a meal and area for the afternoon so that we could all be together between the burial and the service. Santiago and his crew went out of their way to make us comfortable. We were able to hang together and talk... More

I would say I don't agree with comments that service is bad. I've been here a lot over the last year and there might be delays when there are a lot of people but you can see the same everywhere. I like that it is a calm, comfortable restaurant to have dinner. Food is good, steaks definately are above average.

Our family ate several meals together here over the past few days. For the most part, everyone enjoyed the food but the service was quite awful. The waitstaff was inattentive. We had to ask multiple times for things like missing utensils, drink refills, etc. Last night, it took 30 minutes after we were seated for the order to be taken.... More

The east indian guy who seated me had the personality of a mortician. I didn't feel welcomed at all. Took so long for my salad to arrive; I'd forgotten that I had ordered it! But the salad was served in a chilled bowl; that was nice. I ordered the "8 oz" filet mignon, cooked medium. It was WAY overcooked but... More

I could almost say that the food was a normal diner type of breakfast but after the wait staff ignored me for 20 minutes that made everything even worse...nothing worse than mediocre food served by uncaring, arrogant wait staff in an empty restaurant, literally 3 tables taken out of about 50...and I had to call them to ask them if... Food is of reasonable quality but the choice is limited. Atmosphere is not so good when there is a game the TV is really loud.
