One Word...Quality. From the moment you enter, you will feel like an old friend. The space MAY need a little updating based on the level of food served vs. the overall setting. The service is attentive and informative. The room is inviting and has old world elegance while having a rustic charm. Start with a pitcher of Sangria and bowl... More

Lunch 9/3/16 There are several menus to choose from for lunch.. Tapas, a la carte & prixe fixe. Choices on the Tapas menu looked interesting, as did the a la carte. There were 5 of us for lunch and we choose to go with the 4 course prixe fixe menu. It is limited, but there are the following choices for the... More

Good food, fair prices, friendly service, acceptable ambiance......as my grandmother would say, "what's not to like?" We split one appetizer, a delicious mariscada, wine and desert and the check was $80 including tax and tip. Could not have eaten one bite more.

Attentive service and good food makes this restaurant a consistent winner. The grilled calamari was cooked perfectly. Clams in tomato sauce were nicely seasoned. Oysters were FRESH.The chicken croquettes were a great counterbalance to the other fish tapas and salad we ordered.Sangria makes everything ok. Servers were very good. Disappointed that the complementary soup was not caldo gallego but the... More

Really authentic! Outstanding tapas selection. The cheeses, seafood, and sherries (though only a few of these on their menu) are highly recommended! Service good. Lovely atmosphere with heavy wood tables and bar, beautiful lanterns, dim lighting. I have missed tapas since moving away from a large metropolitan area. This was a wonderful evening with friends!

This has became one of our go-to neighborhood places. We love the ambience of it, although honestly, we've gotten no further than the front bar area. Have never eaten in the main dining room. We are there for the wine and tapas. The shrimp in green sauce, the potatas bravas, and the meatballs are a few of our favorites. Have... More

Celebrated my bf birthday Friday night at Pintxo Y Tapas. We were a party of six and requested the table close to the enclosed fireplace. Excellent spot because we were able to talk and not have to yell above the noise! We ordered a number of tapas from the chicken, calamari, asparagus, squid salad, cheese platter and sardines. Everything was... More

My wife and I decided to try something different before a concert at the Bergen PAC. We usually eat Italian or Japanese. We dined at Pintxo Y Tapas. The food was terrific, authentic and very fresh. We had clams in a spicy paprika broth, shrimps a la plancha in a green sauce, jamon Serrano with Manchego cheese and really fresh... More

I called to inquire about a party for up to 40 people. Person who answered the phone was incredibly unhelpful, and would only provide a menu by fax; claimed he did not have a scanner so was unable to email. The other option he provided was for me to come pick up a copy. When I asked if he was... More

Soup is wonderful. Tapas are amazing, we started off with the garlic shrimp, plantains and chicken. Sangria is wonderful and the fish for entree was great.
