Worst service ever. The staff is creepy and the place doesn't seem healthy. Even if u get free ice cream
I actually knew the original Mr. Baumgart in the 1960's, and he would be delighted to see what the new Asian owners have done with the place these many years. They maintained the soda fountain, added a sushi bar, and serve Asian/American fusion food which is always good and occasionally great! Today, I had a massamun shrimp curry, which is... More
I eat here a lot. The food is consistently good (chinese, sushi, salads, sandwiches) and the service is quick. Save room for desert because their ice cream and hot fudge are fabulous.
This place has high quality Chinese food.... The backdrop is an old ice cream parlor style restaurant.... And they take the time to utilize the ice cream parlor they make homemade ice cream which taste absolutely delicious.... They have more than one location but this is the one you want to try.... If something is not on the menu and... More
Food is always well prepared and tasty. Place is often busy, but well organized and service is good. No surprises here, and I have eaten here often and never had anything bad.
I have been going to Baumgart's for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently excellent, fresh, and tasty. We always get the Chinese food & sushi. We love the Chinese eggplant combination & chicken with pine nuts (which is served with lettuce for you to make lettuce wraps with). The house dumplings and fried rice... More
Easily one of my favorites! Food is tops...and priced right. The 50's - 60's ambiance provides a relax atmosphere that make me enjoy a good meal and a nice relaxed conversation with my spouse or family. Try the shrimp with broccoli...sounds like a regular Chinese dish until you realize the jumbo shrimps were grilled and the fresh broccoli cooked enough... More
sushi asian fusion great ice cream get it all here. Great service especially when you do not want to wait forever for food
The Kung Pao Chicken is great. So is the boneless spareribs. Every other week they have a tasty Mongolian Beef lunch special. If you go for dinner, then try Crispy Shrimp and Honey Walnuts. It is awesome.
A bit weird when you walk into a 50's style dinner that retains most of its charm and see that you can order Asian food. Looks can be decieving...and fun. We had the sushi lunch special followed by ice cream. Its dinner time and I'm still not hungry. Staff was wonderfully attentive without being annoying. Would definitely go again.
