My wife and I visited the Cru wine bar in Englewood with high expectations and we were not disappointed. We found the service friendly and attentive ( many reviews indicated a problem with the service). Our salads were good, but probably not worth the $10 price. We thought the wine selection and quality was above average. However, the entrees is... More

Can't argue with the convenience. Seems like they'd like to be a hipster gourmet place, but they don't want to try that hard. Food was okay, but overpriced. Staff is very nice. Go for the location, but nothing more.

I used to live in the area and we went to Grand Cru all the time. On a trip back last week I met up with some friends at Grand Cru. It was wonderful and just as good as I remembered it. The Shrimp and Crab Nachos are incredible, as is the wine list.

Our group was 4 adults for dinner. I enjoy not being rushed for dinner but the service was soooooo slow. I will give the reason we were sat at the high tables near the bar. First of all, they were sooooo uncomfortable. I felt I was sitting in a high chair with no FOOT REST. My feet were dangling the... More

I made reservation for 6:30 pm on Friday, February 15 prior to going to The Bergen Performing Arts Center to see the Whispers & Stylistics. I was greeted by the Hostess who brought us directly to our table. Moe was our Server. He was very personable. He took our drink order as we reviewed the menu. Our drinks we brought... More

We went to this restaurant prior to seeing the Band, Heart, last night. I loved the food. The mushroom pizza was out of this world. The fries were also very good. Just prior to being served, two women came into the restaurant and were seated at a table in the corner of the room. They moved themselves into the center... More

Grand Cru is a fun place to be. It has a fun atmosphere inside and it's great to be with a group of people here. The drinks are really good and the food is absolutely delicious. Def a place I recommend.

We have been here several times before and it seems that each time is worse than the time before. This past time we went to try their new cocktail menu. Sorely disappointed. I even had to send my first drink back, it was that bad. The food was also just blah (except for the kobe beef sliders, those were good).... More
