I use to come to this place all the time as a young teenager. I would ride my bike with a friend down their almost hidden driveway and go into through their side entrance for the best pepperoni bread you could find in this state or country. Didn't matter it was cold and snowing or even raining if we wanted... More

I'm usually not a huge Sicilian pizza fan, but wanted to try something different. I was not disappointed! Just got a simple cheese pizza, but so much flavor. The sauce is fabulous, herbs on the crunchy outer crust. The pizza was not too thick and heavy which usually turns me off Sicilian style pizza. Not the best location, but don't... More

I grew up 1 town over and never heard of this place. I recently read a 'best pizza' article on NJ.com and Santillo's was listed as one of them. I had a pepperoni calzone with garlic bread with cheese. Calzone was amazing! just enough cheese and meat with a toasted brown outside. one problem: I paid for garlic bread with... More

Okay...yesterday my husband, me and two friends went on a foodie road trip. First stop Spiritos in Elizabeth, which just happens to be about 1/2 mile from Santillos. (Reviewed Spiritos separately). My husband worked at Bayway refinery for 37+ years and knows Santillos well. He said he wanted to stop on the way back to the shore and bring home... More

Visited here again and the pizza did not disappoint. Like the brick oven taste and many choices and styles of pizza as well as sandwiches, fresh bread, and other choices. Blink and you'll miss this place. Entrance is located on the side of the building down a driveway. Take out only. One of the better choices for pizza in the... More
