On a recent visit to Elizabeth and looking for Italian food, it was suggested we try this location. It is a small side street location, with their own private parking. Walking inside it seems very small and noisy but also very cozy as well and you feel at home very quickly. The service is very proper and overseen by the... More

Had dinner last week with a group of old work friends, haven't been here in years. Fresh mozzarella with tomatoes, stuffed artichokes, and fried calamari for for appetizers, had soft shell crab francese with capellini for entree. Tartufo for dessert. Everything was delicious. Waiters were very attentive without being intrusive. Parking lot available. It was great to rediscover this old... More

This was the worst food I had eaten all year. Veal for parmesan was a frozen veal patty, the kind with the holes in it. The Pasta had some kind of greasy sauce which smelled bad. No one at my table of eight ate the pasta side. Ragu would have been better,. To be fair the person next to me... More

Sorrento's has been around for ever and John the owner is a wonderful host. Everything is prepared fresh and the menu is varied. There is a parking lot and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant. Wine list is very good and there is a full bar.

Everything was so well done. They make you feel at home here, which is good becuase it is sort of like a great big family party. My bell weather shrimp scampi was perfect, and burrata appetizer on a portobello was exceptionally good. Wines were reasonably priced. The stuffed artichoke was great too. House made pastas. Really slow service, but we... More

We have been going to Sorrento's since it opened approx 25 yrs ago. It's family owed & run, the food is fresh & consistent for a reasonable price. We have never had a bad meal there.

Our group has picked this wonderful restaurant the last two years to have our Christmas dinner. We are usually a group of 20, John greets us and his staff takes good care of us for the next 2 hours. When one of our colleagues cannot make it for one reason or another at the last minute, they will pack up... More

We have been going to Torna a Sorrento for years and we've always had a delicious meal. Everything on the menu is fresh and made to order. It's in a safe neighborhood and has its own parking lot. It's a family owned and run business. If you are in the area stop for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed!!!!
