NO butter served. With the best red sauce in town who needs butter.

Their thick old style Italian red sauce is the best anywhere. Their chicken parmigiana is two full portions on top of one another and great for sharing. Have been here a few times with family. I hear mixed reviews from family members each time regarding their meal. I've ordered the pizza and meatballs and both were pretty good. The service is so so each time and could be more friendly. We had friends coming that were late and we were told they weren't allowed to sit with... More

This place is the stereotypical small neighborhood itailian restaurant. If you like that kind of place, you'll probably like this place. The food is ok with prices leaning toward the high side. What's bizarre is #1 They do not take credit cards. Really in this day and age? 2nd, no condiments. My dinner companion had a sandwich. Lots of meat... More

Everything on the menu is amazing, especially the lasagna, is great. Spirito's is one of the only eateries that serves their lasagna without meat. Most, if not all eateries I've been to serve it with meat, but call me different or what have you, I like my lasagna without meat.

I have been eating at Spirito's for the past 25 years. I now get to still enjoy with my wife and kids whenever we crave the pizza, rav's and garlic salad. It's still one of my and family favorite. Growing up in the Burg, this was a local favorite. It's great place for families to enjoy a nice dinner. Same... More

This restaurant is like stepping back to the 1940's or 50's. It serves outstanding family style Italian food, period. There is nothing fancy about the place or the people. It is located in a neat working class neighborhood with street parking. It was opened in 1932 and is operated by the 4th generation family. They don't take credit cards, cash... More

This was recommended by the Enterprise agent at the airport. The waitress said we had to have the ravioli. Oh my. Incredible. Home made ravioli. Cheese melts in your mouth. I had the sausage and the meatball too. The sausage was better. Overall. ..Incredible. Definitely come here to eat.

Decor is old, so if this will bother you then get your meal to go. I don't go there for the decor, I go there for the food. The ravioli is awesome along with the chicken and veal parmigania. And there pizza is thin crust delicious pizza. Staff is attentive and service is usually very quick. Old school delicious food.... More

My first visit was 50 years ago! It was great then, and still is. This is where I was introduced to Pizza for the first time. All dishes are great.

My husband used to go there when he was a kid, so we went there, the food is not great, and the decor is very old. I'm from Brooklyn, so it's hard to live up to Brooklyn pizza. Spirito's was okay, not great.
