Very good burger

I was staying at the Renaissance, so I wondered downstairs to their restaurant, Ironbound. This is my fourth meal there and all have been very good. This time I had the Ironbound Burger. Presentation of food is outstanding. Nice sized patty with good flavor, best part...the bacon slices! Three... read more

I just had their club sandwich. I almost never complain about food, but this was a $16 sandwich and I didn't even eat half! There is no other dining option around this hotel. It's fenced in like a prison camp. Wow! Hard to believe. The water was good, though.

Like most, walked over from a layover at the Hampton next door. There was a fair crowd there, but didn't interfere with service. When I sat at the bar, the guy next to me had just received his dinner, scallops, and the plate looked great. He said it was, I ordered it, and completely agree. Great spot close by those... More

We were at the Hampton Inn next door and they directed us here for dinner. Easy access through the fence gate to the parking lot and then to the Renaissance lobby and the restaurant. Got a high table for two near the bar and enjoyed a pizza. Very tasty. Great service. Convenient.

We shared the pizza, wings and cuban sandwich. The food was hot, tasty, plentiful and the service was outstanding.

We were staying at the Hampton Inn next door and directed to this joint by the employees there. What a treat! Having just returned from eight days in France that included some great dining, we were hankering for some good American-style food and this place came through. We were reading TA reviews as we walked across the parking lot from... More

I stayed here on a Sunday evening for a meeting at the hotel on Monday morning. I traveled all day, so the only real option after being tired was to eat at the hotel. I ate at the bar and immediately was impressed by the attentive service by the bartender. I was equally impressed by the good menu selections. I... More

Most enjoyable dinner here. Many selections. Everyone at our table was happy with their choice. It is located in the Renaisance Hotel. Very convenient location if staying at the nearby Hampton or Hilton. Great spot if staying in the area while cruising or waiting for a flight.

I am embarrassed to admit what we ordered for lunch: nachos, and chicken wings. We could not finish them by a long shot! But they were delicious. The left over wings made a terrific dinner. Service was good. Martini was good. It was spotlessly clean.

We stopped here for dinner on our recent overnight stay at the Rennaisance Hotel in Elizabeth, NJ. Butternut squash bisque was so warm, fragrant and comforting. Salmon entree with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts was delicious! A gem in a hotel lobby!
