I found this place because I'm involved with the new Goethals Bridge project less than a mile away from this restaurant. I checked with tripadvisor for a place close by that was alittle more upscale. I couldn't believe the quality of food and the decor of the restaurant in this neighborhood. What a great find. I had the Ahi over... More

Unbelievable old world Spanish cuisine in a beautiful old building with the best service and servers in town! We were on business in Elizabeth for two months and ate here often. There are many really good restaurants in Elizabeth, but this one is the best. Well worth the costs and the food is just out of this world. We loved... More

Manolo's is simply one of the very best restaurants where I have had the pleasure of dining! From the location (downtown Elizabeth, Industrial) to the layout (quaint and cozy, with the perfect mixture of ambiance and privacy) to a fantastic menu (Spanish, Mediterranean) to servers extraordinaire! They have everything and more to make your dining a wonderful experience. Once inside,... More

was early for an appointment in Elizabeth, asked the securtiy folks if they had a recommendation, they pointed me to some deli, on the way, I found Manolo's....EXCELLENT....Chicken and Orzo soup, grilled salmon was the best I've had in a LONG time! Garlic Bread with chopped tomatoes and a large cappuccino to finish it off....~$30...but well worth it! excellent atmosphere,... More

Everything seemed to click for the four of us at Manolo's on a recent Saturday night, starting with the delicious sangria. This is a dark, wood-paneled restaurant, with tablecloths on the tables. We had a reservation, but probably didn't need one since the place never totally filled up. T Service was attentive; food was excellent. We mostly ordered from the... More

I have had dinner and lunch at Manolo's and I have never been disappointed. The food is authentic Spanish and the service is excellant. The wine list host some very nice and hard to find wines. Parking is available although it is a small lot.

We went with colleagues who often use this restaurant for business meals, I must say it is a good choice if you like the Spanish cuisine. We got all entrees, meat and seafood of good quality (and big portions): paella in the pan was OK, rich, but not outstanding... maybe a bit weak ? Service was OK (no one else... More

Our interest in Manolo's was prompted by its use as the exterior for the original Vesuvio's restaurant (the one which Tony blew up) in the first season of the Sopranos. Turns out Manolo's is a Spanish (not Italian) restaurant in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood, and the restaurant was largely empty the night we visited. Not a very auspicious start. However,... More

Tucked away in a not so great neighbourhood, (sometimes the GPS takes you past some interesting sites to get here), a surprisingly nice restaurant. Food is over all quite good, service is polished ambience somewhat lacking. Wine list is rather interesting, lots of inexpensive wines, some quite expensive wines not much in the middle unless you go from the Spanish... More
