BIG DISHES

SHARE or you'll take lots of food home. It seems always busy, not fancy but the food says it all. Full bar & you must try the GREEN SANGRIA - OMG. Take your time eating or your get full fast & feel bad that you have no room for the next dish.

We, too, were steered to Valencia by a hotel concierge nearby -a great recommendation. Others have already described the bar, take-out and parking situation, so I'll get right to the experience and food. We came without a reservation, and were seated quickly at a four top (we were just two), and given menus (extensive) and had our drink orders taken.... More

I have to admit that I was skeptical when I first heard of this Portuguese restaurant from the bartender at the nearby hotel I was staying at. They could not say enough about this place which is tucked into a neighborhood close to the Newark airport and actually quite easy to get to. Parking's a little tight and I'd recommend... More

My review is for the take out food. They are busy but the service is fast, I used to place the order by phone and drive there after 15 minutes to pick up the food. The portions are big and delicious. The girls at the balcony and cash register are very friendly and attentive. Every time they open the recipient... More

Sea bass was swimming in greasy butter with a side of bland microwaved broccoli and carrots and some extra bland yellow mush. Ordered creme brûlée and got something that tasted like melted plastic. Thank you for taking the dessert off the bill. It allowed me to go to McDonald's on the way home bec I was starving.

The steak on a stone is must try - very good pricing, large portion of meat with sides. they bring the meat to your table with a searing hot stone and you cook it yourself. A fun experience. More than enough for a meal and a second one later at home. Great wine selection and good service. Not the best... More

This restaurant is a gem. Hidden away in what appears to be a neighborhood, it is extra close to the airport. I came here with my brother's girlfriend (hoping to be my sister in law!!) who is a chef and she was very pleased. I've been here a total of three times as I work nearby. I can't say enough... More

We have been here many times. I'm happy to say they removed the salmon which was my one bad experience there. It's been replaced by lamb chops. 8-9 baby chops for $23.99!! Delicious. Of course the filets are still delicious and are so large that leftovers are definite. My only complaint is that the salad dressing is still very salty.... More
