if your in Edison and want a sub (Hero sandwich). This is the place. I just wish they would add a little more meat. The sandwich is made on a what looks like a 2ft roll. So they should match it with more fixings. Anyway, I return all the time and you should too.

The subs are great !! Bread is very fresh. Lots of meat not just filling. I loved the tuna sub. I also had the Italian a few days later. Both were great.

It is a basic sandwich place. Not fancy. They have very good sandwiches for reasonable price. I would definitely have my lunch there.

The bread is the key here. It is just perfect for a sub sandwich. The meats and cheeses are fresh, the hot peppers add just enough zip and the oil and vinegar are just right. Even though I don't like tuna, the tuna sub here is my favorite. It's the only place I will ever eat tuna. Even President Obama... More

I grew up in Edison eating Tastee Subs! It is a hands down the best subs I have ever had! I now live in PA and if we are visiting or just for a treat we will make the 1 hr 15 min ride. Its a small place but well worth the trip! Quick service, everything is fresh - the... More

Tastee is always on my list when I am visiting family in NJ. No trip is complete without it. I get the #5 - Super Sub: Pressed ham, boiled ham, salami, cappicola, proscuitti, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano, oil and vinegar on a large fresh sub roll. I always get the whole sub and usually have a snack left... More

They have many varieties of subs. The also have whole wheat bread for people who are watching their weight. They also have salads, soft drinks and a small seating area.

Ahh yes...it is what it is...a efficient sub making joint. You get in line, first person cuts the meat you order, 2nd person puts toppings and third person handles the cash register. A very mechanical atmosphere and the ambiance is simple and basic Jersey. What is basic jersey?, just go in and order your sub and I think you'll know... More
