Great place if you like HUGE portions!

If you love be huge sandwiches this is the place! We always have the BLT. One order can feed 5 people at least! Pickle bar is awesome. Service always polite and attentive. I love this place but can't come here too often for fear of gaining a hundred pounds from their giant portions!

A great experience. Old school deli with amazing dishes. Can't believe I have never been here before.

A point of information..Harold was the General Manager of the Carnegie Deli for years. He is also recognized as being the best deli guy in the NYC area so it is no surprise that his place is in my opinion better than the Carnegie. That being said, the Carnegie is closed. You can read all about it. This will be... More

Jewish deli is hard to find in New Jersey. This place is the last of its kind. My husband and I eat here whenever we are in the neighborhood. Unfortunately it is a long drive. The health? salad included with each order is the best ever. Love the pickles too.

Got the triple decker for 6 people. We could have easily fed 4 more at the same cost. Enjoyed the pastrami and corned beef. The potato knish was enough for the 6 of us. Plenty of food ,we split the leftovers and I had enough for 2 more lunches.

A surprisingly excellent suburban version of one of Manhattan's top Jewish delis. Corned beef measured in elevation above sea level. Pickle bar. All the bug city deli accoutrements. Bring multiple eaters or have plans for who'll eat the take home leftovers.

Anytime we can we always go to Harrold's. We love the kosher style sandwiches, knishes, matzoh ball soup, and the pickle bar. All their portions are enormous... One regular sandwich can feed 2-3 people. We always end up aking home whatever we don't eat. It's right over the Outerbridge Crossing and route 440 in the Raritan center.

This was great deli period. The service was fast but they didn't rush you. The waiter was excellent. Corned Beef was delicious, and not fatty at all. Portions are HUGE. A large sandwich feeds 3 easily. We had leftovers and we are big eaters. My husband ordered the egg cream and it was also big enough to share too. It... More

Staying at the neighboring hotel, this was one of the only options for dining. Huge portions and great food. Several of us shared a couple sandwiches, trying the pastrami and corned beef. And their Pickle Bar is great! Go hungry, and share a sandwich.

The portions really are gargantuan -- but that isn't a serious drawback because the food really is quite good, and the prices relatively reasonable (relative to the quality and quantity). And there's the benefit of being able to enjoy the leftovers the next day. (And maybe the day after that, and maybe even . . . .) They reheat well... More
