The employees that work in this place are racist. They do not like anyone that is not White. I went in there with my family to enjoy a nice dinner we were all being polite and the waitress was the most racist person we have ever met. It is shocking that someone in such a diverse town would be so... More

The first time I went to skylark when I moved to edison it was excellent all around. Now I feel like the food quality is down and the service stinks. The coffee drinks aren't as good the servers are not friendly and attentive and the food is usually burnt or tasteless. Also the wait time is unacceptable almost waited over... More

The Skylark Diner is an average NJ diner, some people rave about it, but I find it average. The prices are higher than other places and the portions are a little smaller than average. The selling point to many people is their alcohol license. Skylark was featured on the Food Network a few years ago but it was the alcoholic... More

There are many diners in NJ, but this is one of the best. They have terrific food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

White table cloths, a menu that exceeds most other standard NJ diners, attentive service, and delicious food. Typical diners do not always prepare the best omelets, especially is they are just putting the eggs onto a flat griddle. That's not the way they are prepared at Skylark. The omelets are fluffy, and offered with an wide array of tasty fillings.... More

It's a good thing they were pretty good all the way around when they first started up. They dropped a bit in food quality. Still not bad, but I'm leary of the drop since they have lots of local competition.

Friends from NJ asked if we wanted to start the day with a trip to "their diner". A great experience. FOOD: Lots of choices and the wait staff will help you create items. SERVICE: Wait staff works well together. Our waitress, Heather, was pleasant, attentive and very helpful. VALUE: Two omlets, coffee and tomato juice was about $25.00. ATMOSPHERE: This... More

Party of 10 for an impromptu Breakfast on a Thursday Morning in November. Everyone ordered something different, Drinks came swiftly followed by our breakfast. Everything was served hot and very large portions... and I heard no complaints. This was the first visit and will not be the last... Thanks staff for a great morning get together

We sat at the counter which seemed to be quicker than waiting for a table. They were very busy at the time. Everything was good.
