Great Food - Poor Acoustics

We enjoyed our meals and the service was very good. The lack of floor and/or wall and ceiling covering caused any noise to reverberate annoyingly, but there was nothing wrong with the selections, service or savoriness.

A pleasant restaurant with a side bar and TV's. The seafood such as crabs, can be steamed or grilled. I had the grilled Dungass crab. You can choose the type of seasoning and the type of cooking. I enjoy the grilling. It leaves the shell more brittle and easier to crack.

My first time at Joe's will probably be my last. I enjoy most seafood, but this was run-of-the-mill basic stuff. Nothing I'd go back for. Plus it wasn't terribly cheap. The waiter was a total scatterbrain and hardly gave us any attention and the attention we got was very lackluster. He basically didn't care about serving us. He'd be taking... More

The first time my bf and I went here, we ordered the steampot for 2. Sat at a table, the server we had was very informative and helpful, and had a great experience! Tonight we went back because I received an email from Joe's Crab Shack stating it is "$2 Twosdays - All Tuesday Long! - $2 drinks & $2... More

Some members point our family of five likes to come here for the seafood. Although I personally, don't think it's all that great. We started out with appetizers of: Classic Sampler and clam strips. They were pretty tasty. The dinners ordered were: double shrimp, seaside platter, crab cake chipotle Chipotle salad, Sam Adam's Steampot and the crab daddy feast. Everyone... More

It was difficult to find the crab in the crab nachos, but not at all difficult to taste the salt. Why do restaurants feel they have to put tons of salt in a dish? Maybe because the other ingredients have no flavor at all? I had the fish and chips which weren't terrible. In fact the fish was quite edible... More

Maybe the crab is ok, but definitely NOT the maui maui. Sent back first time, was promised it'd be great the 2nd. Still inedible. Awful. Upon returning my food, I lost half my sides. No attempt to please me; you'd think a manager would stop by when food is sent back twice? Nope. Poorly managed. The lobster bisque tasted good... More

First time in this particular Joe's Crab Shack. As they all are, this was great too. When you want crabs, all kinds, think no more.

My wife and I eat here often, the food is great alway's, service good, because of the design of the building it can get noisey, but well worth a visit and good value for money, always very clean.
