The pots of crab, corn, etc. are great but quite expensive for what you get. It is very messy to eat the dishes here so use the bib provided to protect your clothes.

Beautiful building , friendly staff , tasty food but well overpriced for small portions - red lobster much better value - same quality - haven't gone back due to prices.

If in area with a Joe's Crab Shack, we usually eat there. Have not had a bad experience or bad food and have eaten at many from the smoky mountains to the coast and was surprised to find one this far north. Sometimes the music is a little loud, but we stopped early around 5 or 5:30 and had a... More

We tried Joe's two times because the first time was a bad experience and we thought it would be fair to give them a second try. My wife and I eat out 3 or 4 times per week, and we have never in our lives left without eating any of our entrées. Both of us were unable to eat our... More

I love Joe's Crab Shack. Me and a co-worker visited this location right after work on a Friday. We arrived around 5:00 and was seated immediately. Staff very friendly, restaurant very clean and food excellent. Everything was hot and fresh. The alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced. Would recommend and definitely go back!

This is a very fun place to dine - very high energy among the mostly quite young waitstaff. Menu selections are pretty uniform across the country, as this is a chain. Lots of good, hot, nicely-cooked and presented shellfish. Go on the website before you visit and download a coupon for a free appetizer. We got the Crab Fries -... More

EVERYTHING comes in a net bag! Half the clams weren't opened, a lobster came without a tail! When we told the waitress she said that because everything is in the net bags nothing can be done! There are MUCH better seafood places out there, just don't "Eat at Joe's"!

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night around 7 and were surprised that we were seated right away. Server was attentive. My friend ordered a shrimp platter and I had a medley plate with shrimp, scallops, and filet. We were very happy to find the seafood was fresh and very tasty. We will go again.

My daughter and I decided to splurge on some crab legs and decadent dessert while on vacation. We always wanted to eat at Joe's on various trips down the east coast, but never managed to do so. We were excited to find this one, and while the waitress we had was not anything to write home about, the dinner was... More

I had the crab special, a medallion of different crab legs with a side of nicely flavoured fries. Well cooked, plenty of crab meat. Bib provided as well as hand towels. Attentive staff. Not much atmosphere - but we were there at closing time. Good value.
