This is my wife's favorite Mexican Restaurant! I always order a combo platter and she orders mixed tacos. We add rice and refried beans also. You can order Margheritas or other drinks and they always have bottomless nacho and salsa bowls too. Always pleased with their food. Sometimes there is only 1 server working and it can take a little... More

Ever since I saw a shot of the front of the restaurant from the super bowl i wanted another visit in the worst way. I always find a healthy meal with authentic cooking. I have not been to a Mexican themed restaurant recently because they are far from real. Tell Dina that TimO Limo sent you! Its the best and... More

Yes, the ambiance is dreary and yes, the service is amateurish but Fiesta Hut does have a charm. That said it all about the food specifically Dina's very solid Mexican cooking washed down by terrific margherita's. the is as good as any Mexican in metro NYC.

*I think my biggest grievance with this place is that the waiter was totally clueless. In fact, my boyfriend and I had no idea they offered liquor until we read reviews for fiesta hut afterwards - we were browsing the menu right in front of the waiter, saying "hm I guess since there's no beer, I'll have a diet coke... The first impression walking in was poor. Unlit, messy bar area and unpleasant odor in the foyer. Decor is minimalist with a few prints of famous Mexican folk paintings on brightly painted walls. The dining area is a small space with wooden chairs and tables with poorly conceived lighting. I am not sure what authentic Mexican food is. I have... More

Haven't been there in years and won't be going back. Food was nowhere near authentic Mexican, I'm pretty sure one dish had Velvetta cheese in it. Service was bad! We were cut off after ONE ROUND of margaritas!! Seriously! Waitress said she could not serve us a second round. A friend offered to not have another drink and she still... More

New waiter at this restaurant - service improved 10x but still shorthanded at times. Same delicious food. Try it again...

It's quite normal to walk into this place and be turned off by the wobbly wooden tables, bland decor and completely out of context Jamaican music. Allll of that is soon forgotten as soon as you take the first bite of your chips and fresh house-made salsa. One of 3 extremely passionate servers will soon tell you how they make... More
