I go to this Diner at least once a week. The owners Jimmy and Vicki always greet us with a big Smile and come over to the table to see how we are doing. They have top notch staff and service. My favorite wait staff is Alyssa she is the best. We have never had a bad meal here or... read more

Heard this from my employee, Food was good, but to be extra charged for TV Entertainment is ridiculous,WT? They sat down to eat and were watching TV. They asked if they could change the channel to watch another sport event being that there was 3 TV's showing the same game. When they received the check each were charged .33 cents... More

This restaurant has kind of a family restaurant / New York Deli kind of feel. As you enter it has a great looking desert display that definately gives it the Deli feel but the decor and menu gives it more of an American family restaurant feel. I ordered the Pot roast sandwich with a salad. The sandwich was delicious and... More

I know this place before they renovated but never went in afterwards. After the renovation, this place is very modern and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and you either get your very young people or the mean old-faced ladies (they could be nice but I don't know since they didn't wait in me). Sitting at the bar can be... What a waste of an amazing space. The owners need to wake up. The management and staff are frequently unprofessional and discourteous with slow, unresponsive service. The food seems to get worse every time. Cold, bland and undercooked seems to be the norm here. I'm not going here anymore as I have had a whole succession of bad experiences. The... More

first time here Deserts look great as you enter. Breakfast - the building appears new but our booth already was missing the covering right in the middle of the seat. Omelet was typical flat and overdone, potatoes just ok, toast like a board, bacon thin and mostly fatty, coffee barely better than brown water, ok it's a diner I know,... More

Went in for breakfast on Wednesday before Christmas. Granted they were busy. Ordered my breakfast, how bad can this be. Egg Whites with spinach and whole wheat toast. There were also homefries on the plate. Plate comes out, and egg whites are runny all over the plate, homefries are soggy, only good thing was the toast. Coffee was AWFUL !!!!... More

I usually visit this diner at least once per stay in the area. It's a solid choice for any meal. Fast, friendly service and good food.

Diners are all over Jersey. Most have Hugh menus, are old established facilities, neighborhood stalwarts and frequently are aluminum clad ... Food is generally of high quality and large portions. Then there is what should be credited as the benchmark of New Jersey Diners. The Candlewyck,Fine Diner and Bar rivals most anything found across the river in trendy NYC,and at a portion... More

We went here quite by mistake : we got back to our hotel late, & finding ourselves craving a late night dinner, we went in search of standard fare and found an after hours gem! I had their french toast; crispy exterior, tender inside, and bacon fried to perfection. Not too crispy, not too chewy. My coffee cup was never... More
