I have known of this restaurant for many years and decided to check it out. I was surprised at the decor and had second thoughts but I wasn't disappointed. The menu had great choices, just as another reviewer said, comfort food. Although it was a Tuesday evening, the place was packed. Worth the trip

After two and half hour drive on I-95 great call by our freinds to select this restaurant, minutes away from our stay in Secaucus N.J. Our waitress provided us with great service and a lot of laughs.Loved the fresh salad, a generous portion of veal pizziola was tasy as well, all in all the general consensus of our party was... More

We went there for dinner and were the only people sitting at the bar waiting for a table. They were busy and the place was full however after we were seated we waited at least an hour for two appetizers, one arrived hastily prepared and the other was barely eatable. After another hour dinner showed up (perfectly cooked, by they... More

It actually makes me angry the arrogance this place has to charge premium prices for grocery store food. Nothing is fresh. Not the decor, not the service and not the food. I admire a restaurant that can sustain a successful business for decades. The final insult after a meal for 3 adults was over $160 before tip, was the waitstaff... More

This is one of the greatest Italian restaurants I have eaten at. The food is prime, 1st class quality and plentiful. On a recent business trip to NJ, I found myself repeatedly going back. Try the Spedino alla romano for an appetizer, exquisite. Order one, its enough for two, as well as all his dishes. For a main course I... More

Jerry's is absolutely the very best Italian restaurant in the tri state area. The spedini is unlike anything you will find in other Italian restaurant and the staples on the menu, from veal to fish to pork to just plain meatballs and spaghetti are authentic and fresh. If you think you have eaten really good Italian food, reserve that decision... More

Jerry's is how I remember Italian restaurants when I grew up in Brooklyn. The service is old fashioned and caring. I had veal Marsala...it was delicious. Veal is always a risk, but this veal was soft. The sauce was not too heavy, not too salty. I will definitely return!

Went there on the recommendation of the hotel we were staying at near the Meadowlands. Got there about 8pm and seated right away. Waitress took drink order and brought bread. Then when we started to order she read off a list of what was no longer available. Then we waited and waited. She came and told us that a large... More

Went back today to Jerry's for a business lunch. Might be old fashioned - not a very fancy place - but their food is always tops for traditional Italian-American fare. There were five of us and we shared a Jesse Salad - extremely fresh, not overdressed and can easily feed anywhere from 4 to 6 people as an appetizer/salad course.... More
