Great Find in Cranford

I can't wait to go back, the food and atmosphere is very similiar to a NYC restaurant. The food was amazing. The duck was so delicious and the Tuna was so tender and tasty. Roasted radish omg. Rice cake. The chef is talented to say the least. The waitstaff were very professional but didn't... read more

This magnificent restaurant open for 2 years now is by far the tops in the Union County area. The atmosphere is casual but elite. The dinners speak for themselves and using all fresh vegetables and ingredients. My favorite the braised short ribs. the owners are hands on and go out of their way to accomodate you. Wednesday night is the... More

I have had several visits to Pairings, most recently on Sunday evening with family for a "multi birthday" celebration. I must say that the dining experience here is always superb. The food is creative, delicious and of high quality. The service is very attentive but not overbearing. There is attention to detail on every level from the lovely and professional... More

We picked this restaurant based on its Trip Advisor rating of #1 in Cranford. We were not disappointed! Upon arrival we were seated promptly even though the rest of our party hadn't yet arrived, and were told who our waiter would be. Bottled water was brought to the table and poured and, since it is BYOB, our bottles of wine... More

I went with a group of people, so was able to try a variety of dishes. This restaurant is quite nice, a bit formal and BYOB. We began with spiced pear and stilton green salad. I loved it. Also got to have a ribs starter which was nice. Meat was so tender. Then we got a little palate cleansing ice... More

We visited on a Wednesday with the price fix menu and also on a Saturday night with the full menu. My wife preferred the price fix. The menu on either night offered unusual choices and the presentations and tastes were very good. The owners are at the fton desk and are very welcoming. This is a nice addition to Cranford.

Fantastic restaurant that is the epitome of fine dining. Servers are enthusistic but not trying to be your best friend, which is the way I prefer. Food is remarkable and presentation elegant. Bring your own wine. If something is lacking it is in the beverage dpeartment - through no fault of their own. Save a trip to NY and dine... More

Moving from NYC to Cranford, I really thought that I would have to travel closer to NY to get fabulous food but I was wrong. Pairings has an eclectic menu with well prepared food, knowledgeable and friendly wait staff and a very soothing and sultry atmosphere. It is perfect for a first date or special occasion. Not really a place... More

Chef Naved Ferdinands (recently of Food Network's "Chopped" fame) along with Carol and Vinnie elevate the dining experience in New Jersey to new heights! I am keenly aware of the attention to detail -- from the warm personal greeting, to the crisp white linens to the soft lighting and acoustic perfection. This is BYO, but you should also bring your...
