My oldest turned 5 and the wife thought this would be a great place instead of the normal lunch spots we choose for the kids. It was great. Had the grill cheese that put them on the map. Especially after the tv show. It was good. The restaurant even Sang happy birthday to my son he loved it! Would be... More

I take my god daughter here when she is in town. She loves it here. She's 8. The food is decent comfort food but it's not fine dining by any means. I love tomato soup in general but do not like it here- despite the goldfish crackers. The grilled cheese sandwiches are the way to go. Children enjoy the pancakes... More

This was our first time visiting. My friends and I wanted to check it out because one is also opening in a Medford. We were really impressed with the number of selections on the menu. So many food and drink choices!! We both had grilled cheese and fries, which were delicious. I was happy that they had gluten free options... More

The pop shop is a throwback retro soda fountain/diner that would look right at home in the 50's. The food is good, they are known for their many varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches and their breakfast items. It is normally crowded at breakfast lunch and dinner especially on weekends.

I love this place! Yes, it can get loud but it is family friendly. If you want peace and quiet, go somewhere else. The menu is ginormous and diverse with some healthy options to offset all the decadence. We were told a 20 minute wait but it ended up being less than 10. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and patient.... More

We have visited many times and each visit I am less and less impressed. The noise level is so high which I get for a restaurant aimed at children but the Pop Shop takes it to another level. It is also pricey for what is basically an exaggerated ice cream parlor. The service is usually good and the balloon man... More

A great family destination and when you go there, expect some kind of kids party unless say after 7 or so. Very creative menu and not your standard family/bar& grill menu with many plain apps and menu faire. A large assortment of entrees, especially sandwiches and their famous grilled cheese menu. Very noisy because of the high metal ceiling and... More

I should just give this the top rating it deserves. You won't leave here hungry or hangry. You may get very hangry if the wait time outside is more than 30 minutes. It seems as though this is your typical retro malt shop from the 50's used mostly for birthday celebrations. Don't be fooled, though. They're very vegan and vegetarian... More

I like the Pop Shop. I really do, but the last visit we had was just OK. I had a grilled cheese that was cheddar cheese and chicken on sourdough. The chicken was cold when it arrived. The fries were delish. My one child had pancackes - she loved them. My other child had Mac and Cheese. She ate a... More

We've been to the Pop Shoppe several times, usually for breakfast. They have a large breakfast menu with pancakes and omelets the main offerings.. They served huge pancakes that are quite good. I like mine with the chocolate and peanut butter chips mixed it. Unless you have a huge appetite request the short stack. I think it's more than enough... More
