Decent food

Went to the Collingswood location - interesting decor (sorta 50s). Very noisy with a lot of young children (as expected). We called about 30 minutes before we were to arrive and asked about reservations - they said they only take them 24 hours before and they had a 1 hour wait. We decided to go... read more

This is a 50's place that will not disappoint. It is very kid friendly. If you are not looking for a child atmosphere, do not go here. There are balloons, and coloring, and kid cups, with lots of kid friendly meals. There are also adult sandwiches, breakfast all day, and entrees. Adults will find many, mature items to order. It... Went to new Medford location on April 2nd and was disapointed on several fronts: 1. Seating was delayed with tables open - due to Kitchen backup. (waited 40 min for table and once seated - meal took another 45 min to serve. 2. When meals arrived (5 people) the Chicken salad sandwich was "warm" (like it was under the warmer... More

My rating would be a 3.5 if such a rating were available. I have been to The Pop Shop 2 times in the past month, one time for a burger and one time for a salad. Both choices were good, esp. the salad, which was huge. Of course, the ice cream sundaes were terrific. My problem is the noise level.... More

I went to the Medford, NJ location with a group of friends last month. It was a busy place. We got there just in time (11:30 AM), for the wait grew to 1 hour while we were seated. This location wasn't "officially" open for business yet, but doors were open for a trial run. The service was a little slow... More

This review is for The Pop Shop at Medford, NJ, where we went last week when visiting friends. Although it's certainly not the worst restaurant I've visited, It's also certainly not the best by any means. Even cutting them a break for only being open for about a week at the time, there are several issues I would like to... More

We really love the Pop Shop. All the food is good. Certainly not a romantic spot, as it's mostly families- but it's good old fashioned food and ice cream. Try the "Eldridge". You'll love it!

Unfortunately, I don't get here too often, but when I do , I always enjoy it:) A great place with great service! They even have fun ideas for children in mind! ( Dr.Suess Day, pajama days) Also , they take part in many event charities ( weather they are the drop-off spot or they themselves are donating) Their entire menu... More

Kids love this place because there is lots of the food that they go for. Parents love it because the kids are happy, the decor takes you back even beyond Grandma's era, and the food is unexpectedly sophisticated for a place that seems kid-oriented. I especially enjoy the salads, chopped or not: the smoked salmon with goat cheese, capers and... More

Busy Saturday night and we had to wait, but they took cell number and called when ready. Collingswood is nice to walk around. Great service, really nice server - Julia. Food was good - lots of choices, known for grilled cheese. I had cheddar, portabello, spinach, caramelized onions - very tasty! If we hadn't been stuffed, would have had ice... More
