The food here has always been great, but the decor has gotten shoddy. The wallpaper in the ladies room has been peeling for months. For a restaurant with a NYC vibe (menu and higher than average prices), this is unacceptable. The service was very attentive. We went on a Monday night, when they are now offering a 25% discount. We... More

Food was overpriced for what you received but it was good. I couldn't finish what was ordered but it was as good as Eat Rice in Bayonne with great service. We ate really late at night and were glad to get last seating before they closed.

I ate there twice over the years ! Food was good but pricey ! Service was excellent. They gave a complimentary drink at the end of the meal. They would have a bit more Business if the prices were a bit lower. The atmosphere is much nicer than most any other Chinese Restaurant! Stephen G

If you appreciate good Szechuan Chinese food, a visit to Chengdu 46 is a must if you are in the area. The menu is extensive and filled with outstanding well-prepared dishes. Two of my favorite appetizers are the tasty Spicy Dumplings and the Bang Bang chicken. The spicy tofu is amongst the best I've ever had, and the Volcano Chicken... More

On a snowy Sunday night there was more of a crowd tan I would expect. Somehow our reservations got confused however we were promptly seated and quickly severed hot food. We started with honey ribs, dumplings in spicy sauce and an fried dumplings. We moved on to peacocks fan (fried shrimp), celestial chicken and beef with broccoli. All were fantastic... More

The food was basically low quality suburban Chinese. Very very expensive. A standard chicken and peanuts (Kung Po) was $19. It was not very good. The place was empty.

The food is always first rate at this Clifton spot. Doesn't look like anything special on the outside, and the interior decor is a little dated, but if you keep your eyes on the food and presentation, you won't be disappointed.

The owner was rude, slow and also a waiter. Food was very good. Had reservations, but still had to wait 15 minutes!

Last time I was here was about a year ago....until yesterday. I remember it being pretty good- nice decor, good service, good food but that has all gone downhill (with the exception of service). The place seems to have gotten a new chef and it is clearly reflected in the quality of the food.....or lack there of. The seats were... More

Yes, really good. Their lobster , made any way, is fabulous. Very good Peking duck. Just tried the Sandi?- not sure og the spelling - rice - excellent! Waiters in tuxedos. A great Manhattan straight up to start. Complimentary plum wine after dinner. Yes, we travel 25 minutes to get there, because it is worth it. Sick of the local... More
