I had the kafta combo for lunch. Came with Hummus and Tabouleh, and plenty of bread. When i finished I realized I hadn't added any salt to it because it all had so much flavor on its own. I could have eaten that dish all day. My companion had Gyro and he liked it very much. We split an order... More

I haven't reviewed Norma's since 2009, so I decided another review of one of our favorite restaurants was in order. Norma's attracts a broad range of customers: families, couples, groups of friends/co-workers. Staff is very friendly and provides consistent, reliable service. We always start with the falafel, but we get it grilled to cut out some of the calories. Always... More

This Mediterranean restaurant has a dinner and lunch menu. I ordered a vegetarian gyro and my guest ordered a lamb gyro. Both were quite tasty. There is also a small food market at one end of the restaurant.

Going to this restaurant is like going to a relatives house for dinner, although you do have to pay for your meal :) We have been vegan for a year now. It's a good thing one of Norma's son's is Vegan, which attributes to the variety of a Vegan food one can choose from. They are a BYOB, but we... More

Had dinner with friends and family. We had them order for us since this was our first time here. Typical Middle East fare, hummus, falafel, tabouli and shiskabob. Very enjoyable and reasonable.

My spouse and I went for dinner. Soup was excellent. It was served quickly. Then we waited amd waited and waited. There were 3 other tables that came in after us. They all received their food before us. We waited so long that we almost walked out. When our food came, it was terrible. It looked like dog food and... More

We have been coming here for a few years. The food is delicious. They have a regular, vegetarian and vegan menu. The veggie soup is a winner! Their hummus is fresh and make sure you try the garlic pita chip! The chicken kabobs are excellent. Norma's is our go to lunch spot!

This restaurant. Is an old favorite of ours. I used to live nearby and went monthly. Now that I live 20 miles away, it requires planning. Anyhow, we went and had platters of shishkabob. Always good, always filling. Plenty of hummus and pita bread and a green side dish (name unknown). Yes, the ambience is of a strip mall, but... More

The atmosphere was nothing to write home about. However, the food was amazing. We had Sfiha and Spanakopita as an appetizer. They were both great. The Gyro and fries were pretty amazing as well.

While the atmosphere is nothing to write home about, the food is very tasty and it is truly authentic Middle Eastern fare. When I am in New Jersey, it's a favorite place to go.
