Loved our Friday night dinner. Small space best suited for smaller parties. But excellent food. Great choices on a small but diverse menu.
I often eat in Portuguese restaurants in Little Brazil in Manhattan, and this is every bit as good. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and everything was served steaming hot. The service is friendly and efficient. It's small, so reservations are a good idea if you want a table. Otherwise, a single or a couple could just sit at... More
First time here after movie in Green Village. No reservation. Place was crowded - it is tiny. We sat at bar in front of grill. Quite a show watching the cooks do their thing. Only problem with sitting there is it gets really hot and you end up smelling a little like BBQ ( which I personally don't mind;-). Great... More
Now there's an authentic Portuguese restaurant way out here in the suburbs. No need to travel into Newark's Iron Bound district. Some of the portions are more than enough for two, but none disappoint. BYOB.
This was our second visit to Brasa Grille and it was better than the previous one about a year ago. We were a group of 4 and had a reservation. They gave us the table by the window which is a little bigger than the others (the place is indeed small with only a few tables and counter seating). The... More
With only a few tables and counter seating in front of the open kitchen, it can be hard to get a seat but it is well worth it. Amazing home style Portuguese food and open pit grilling combined with an intimate atmosphere make for a great night. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I have been there many times... Tiny restaurant with quality food. I have eaten here a number of times for both lunch and dinner. Very accomodating. Very good steak sandwich or chicken for lunch. Very Very good Garlic Shrimp. Service is good. Downsides are the place is small, so difficult to get in if you don't have a reservation on a weekend and prices are a... More
Great little restaurant where reservations are highly recommended. It gets full, fast, as the food is fantastic and the service is refreshingly above average. BYOB of course and bring your partner for a great night out where the management/owner chats with his guests and the attention to detail makes you think you should be paying more.
Fun alternative to larger restaurants. Excellent variety and quality. Busy on weekends, but takeout is an alternative
We wanted a local dinner ‘out’, it was Saturday night, and we did not have a reservation. While we hoped to try Brasa Grille on the recommendation of friends, we had seen the small dining room and were afraid of being turned away as on a previous visit. We called an hour ahead to try our luck, and were offered... More
