We ate here for the first time and got there before our table was ready, so we each had a martini at the bar, which was really nice. We were shown to a table overlooking the ocean/beach, which was a bonus! We had a fantastic meal. I ordered a wine they were sold out of, which I was disappointed--but the... More

Let me begin with a ringing tribute to the Mosaic Salad: the best, most original, most impressive appetizer I've ever enjoyed in three or four decades of fine dining both in Europe and around the U.S. We're told it takes 20 minutes for the prep crew to prepare each one in the afternoon, and I can understand why. Picture tiny... More

First, the good news: the food was truly spectacular. The beginning complementary amuse bouche was very tasty. The smoked seafood gazpacho was excellent. The scallops dusted with cumin and with a peach salsa and pasta side was excellent. The salmon with Israeli couscous was excellent. Ok, so why not rate this place excellent? Service was inconsistent. The ambiance was not... More

I do not understand the excellent reviews of this restaurant. It does have a beautiful view-but that is about all. There is no ambiance-I cannot comment on the decor because there really isn't any-the bar is "bare" - no candles, nothing. The menu is very limited-heavy on seafood. I realize we're at the shore-but not everyone enjoys seafood. The food... More

I would rate this place as "good" if that were an option, but "very good" might be an overstatement. Perhaps I have fine dining fatigue after a week in Cape May, but the menu here seemed overly complicated and I had trouble choosing dishes, as did my husband. I am no stranger to complex cuisine and appreciate creativity, but with... More

We had dinner here on July 22nd. Service was very amateurish... they brought this nasty amuse bouche the minute we sat down - no drinks yet and we still had menus. The selection is rather limited, but we each (4 of us) had something different and no one enjoyed their meals. We had a tuna dish (requested rare, came well... More

My friend and I had a table for two on the balcony overlooking Cape May beach...fabulous! The food at the restaurant was Very Good ( a little pricey, but very good)! The waitress was very accommodating to our requests and needs and the rest of the staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back next time we're in Cape May!

first and foremost the staff and management were killer and provided pristine accommodations. The oysters are the peak of freshness, the cocktails are unique and thoughtfully crafted and the food is good. powerful flavors surrounded the plates and each artfully composed. the Berkshire pork chop is absurd! again thank you to the management and our "traveled" server you provided ideal,... First time visiting. Service was very attentive. Upstairs from the worn and dated Cabanas so don't let that fool you. We had oysters and clams to start. We had two orders of salmon at the table with a light Buerre blanc sauce, a corn salad which was great and a cous cous. One guest had Tuna that had a celantro... More

The view of the beach is perfect if you get the right table. I heard the menu changes weekly but I'm not sure because I've only been there once. If you don't like seafood, this isn't the place for you though I liked it but not seafood. Is not a must see, but good enough.
