I really don't get how some people rave about this place. The food is average at best. If you just want a beer and a quick bite, maybe this will do the trick. This is not, however, a place I would ever go for a "meal". There are many better choices in town. Skip this unless you are headed out... More

While not much on the huge menu impressed us, the wood-fired pizza is delicious! Try the clam and garlic or the tomato basil, you won't be sorry! Skip the dining room, sit at the bar, have a Cape May Brewing Company beer and enjoy some pizza!

The mussels were awful. Bread served with the mussels was rubbery like it just came out of the microwave. The fries were soggy. There are too many restaurants in Cape may. Don't waste your cash there.

We've driven by this place every year on vacation and finally tried it. It looked like it would be sort of nice inside but it was really just like a pub. Food was unremarkable and it was a little pricey for what you got. However, the waitress we had was very bubbly and energetic and she made it a pleasant... More

At the northern most entrance to America’s Victorian resort, surrounded by commercial and charter fishing vessels, pleasure boats, protected marshes and waterways, Lucky Bones Backwater Grille is the ideal welcome to Cape May, New Jersey. Lucky Bones offers a casual, family-friendly and tavern-style menu. Our favorite appetizer, (we get every time,) the Backwater Grille Super Nachos, piled high with tomatoes,... More

We don't live in Cape May but when we visit we always make it a point to have at least one lunch or dinner at Lucky Bones. You can tell it is a place where lots of locals with families frequent. Great thin pizza and everything else we have had is done pretty well and served very efficiently. It is... More

As I have traveled to Cape May before, I have never found a restaurant that suits my cuisine needs. I have always found many restaurants to have an unbalanced menus, but at Lucky Bones, there is no need to go elsewhere. Many restaurants have one specific selection such as fish and etc. But at Lucky Bones, they have something for... More

As part time Cape May residents; as it was recommended by others we decided to try this eating establishment for lunch . It is located in the Schellenger's landing area of Cape May. My wife ordered the Grouper special that she said was very good but my Taragon Chicken Salad sandwich that I ordered was a different story. The chicken... More

One of our favorite places in Cape May. Their range of food is good and most will leave very happy--biggest complaints I am sure will be having to wait. They do have a 'courtesy sign' that lets you know the wait. Barfood to family food..Can not go wrong!!

To be honest, we went here simply because it was the first thing we found with ample parking that was open and we were starving. We were very lucky, it was very good. We didn't have a wait for a table, and our orders were taken quickly and sent out quickly. The pizzas are personal size, so my husband got... More
