We have visited George's and wanted to experience Y.B. We were not disappointed. My friend and I stayed right around the corner at a B&B and arrived at Y.B. on a Wednesday evening around 6:15 p.m. We were surprised to be seated right away and by 6:30, the small place was filled. It is a BYO which we love. Pete,the... More

The food at YB is good. My finance ordered two appetizers as his meal and they were too small to fill him up. The fish taco appetizer was good but would be better with more fish. I ordered the steak with duck fries which was good. Not a bad meal but I wasn't blown away.

We went to YB for dinner on a Sunday night in the off season (early May) Had a wonderful time, the food was really excellent, I'm a chef/baker, and was surprised and delighted at every turn. We started with a crab cake and the mac and cheese poppers. My husband threatened to cancel his dinner and order two more of... More

We came upon the restaurant by surprise. The name was intriguing and the inside looked trendy yet casual. The chef and owner is such a charming young man and the wait staff couldn't have been more friendly and efficient. I have a very strong aversion to Cilantro, but the chef walked me through the menu choices and put together a... More

We visited Cape May off-season and were glad to find this restaurant open on a Wednesday evening. We had checked out some other restaurants and found they were either closed or very pricey. In general I would say the food here was consistently better than average and almost exceptional. Given the reasonable pricing that makes it a real value in... More

Everything is fresh and simply prepared! We thoroughly enjoyed the salmon, cod and steak du jour. Great service, too!

So we bought a Living Social deal which brought us to Cape May, and since the YB Eat Place was just around the corner from where we were staying we decided to return, not only because we enjoyed the food last August, but also because of the "New York" prices of the other local restaurants. Y.B. Eat Place food prices... More

Cape May New Jersey is a special little town any time of the year, but in the early spring after a good winters yawn, the little town by the sea begins to awaken. With this comes the opening of some of the best restaurants in town. YB's is one of these little gems. YB is the "younger brother" of the... More

My wife and I discovered this place a couple years ago and can't get enough. We travel to Cape May a few times a year and ALWAYS make YB a stop. The service is friendly and efficient. The menu is awesome. Recommend the mac and cheese balls, the tuna tacos, the turkey dinner, any fish dish. Great food, inexpensive, and... More
