Great again!

The YB is always on our list when we're in Cape May-once again, we're happy it is. Corinne took care of us again-she's always so pleasant and knowledgeable. My wife and I had a really nice breakfast experience here. The menu options were fantastic and the food was equally exceptional. I had the Healthy egg white omelet and my wife had eggs Benedict. I didn't want the potatoes that it came with so the waitress asked me if I wanted tomato slices and fresh fruit instead. Great option.... More

We were at YB last October, and we were thrilled. We went back again and were pleased once more. Although they changed the menu, they happily made us our egg treat from October. They are now offering a complete breakfast of just about anything with juice and coffee for $9.00. It is so relaxed there..no hurry...no worry... and a real... More

Went with family to this laid back, BYO. Great menu and very accommodating to the preteen kids who wanted pizza. When that didn't work, they produced amazing waffles for the kids. I enjoyed Watermelon, Feta Salad as my appetizer and the prime steak. Both were terrific. The DDD pork dish lived up to its billing per my brother in law.... More

Contemporary atmosphere but comes across a bit like you're eating at cafeteria tables. Good food. Interesting menu items but the menu is very limited. You can't get soup or a salad with lettuce or greens. It's a shame because we saw lots of people looking at the menu and walking away. We were there on a Friday night at 7... More

Fantastic small venue that took a large party, great service and excellent food. Great menu with a good variety of choices, went back for breakfast last day, just as good.

We were looking for a light dinner and having already visited Pano and George's place (same owners), we decided to visit The Y.B. We scoped out their menu and it was just what we were looking for. The ambience of the place is cool, very hip yet simple with great music. We started with the Duck Fat Fries which were... More

This was our first visit and it won't be our last. We had a great dinner. The portions were large, so large that I could not eat dessert (a rarity). Some of the starters are large enough to be a small main course such as the chicken and waffles and the mac and cheese poppers. Hubby had the DDD Turkey... More

The décor is interesting with the retro French black and white movie posters. Speakeasy music plays in the background of the small interior. The restaurant is conveniently located on Beach Avenue near the convention center and pedestrian mall. Maybe the Friday night we were there was an off night for YB. We left disappointed. The staff was not very friendly... More

This is the second time we ate at YB. The food is really excellent and a bit different. I had the crab cakes, which were almost all crab meat, not bread crumb. My wife had the sesame crusted tuna - also excellent and a nice portion. The sesame ginger cold noodles were terrific as was the corn bread / chirizo... More
