Long time shore resident but first time at Y.B. Went with several girl friends for lunch. Very clean and bright. Had the best grilled cheese sandwich ever. Various cheeses, tomato and pesto sauce on cheesy bread...delicious. My friends had the tuna salad, nice portion of tuna cooked to their liking. Another friend had the pita sandwich which they said was... More

Had a very good breakfast here this past weekend. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We just had eggs, home fries and toast, but they were good and hot. Coffee was good as well. It is a cute little place and we would return. Cash only.

With a table right at the window my daughter and I shared the watermelon, tomato and feta appetizer ... Refreshing and lovely presentation! Then I went back to the hotel to grab a couple or beers in the fridge and some cash at the ATM. I returned to enjoy our well made entrees... Mine was crab cakes and Jeni had... More

Visited The Y.B. last Saturday night with the DH, two teenage girls and my 20 year old son. Although we've been visiting Cape May for 20 years, this was our first visit to The Y.B. We started with the duck fat fries which were delicious - crunchy, starchy but not too much so and served with an excellent dipping sauce.... More

Stumbled upon this cute little place on a Saturday morning for brunch. I was surprised that there was no wait, but the inviting decor was modern and aesthetically pleasing. The menu seemed to have great variety and reasonable prices. Our waitress was quick, polite, and professional. The food did not disappoint--I had a wonderful omelet with homefries. I can't remember... More

Everything about this meal was excellent from the service to the food. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone other than families with small children. Duck fat fries were worth getting once. The DDD turkey and the couscous were great.

We vacation in Cape May regularly and I have walked by this restaurant many times. I am so very upset I did not try it sooner! I have had great breakfasts and lunches here and cannot wait to try dinners. The menu is very creative, portions are very good, the quality and variety of food is very good and you... More

We were at The Y.B. this past Thursday and really enjoyed it. Everyone got fish for the most part. The preparations were unique, setting this restaurant apart from the many that tend to serve the same fish the same way. Not over-prepared at all, and the side dishes were very good. The dining room is clean and modern, with hardwood... More

We walked in, after my wife's failed attempts to make a reservation, (they wouldn't pick up the phone!). Their ways of operating are a bit orthodox, they don't have a hostess station or much space or great lighting, but the service made up for that. Our server, Brandon, was a extremely helpful and knowledgeable and pointed out all details we... More

This was our first time at YB and the food was awesome. My wife had fresh turkey slow cooked all day in duck fat and it fell off the bone. A cornbread, chorizio and cranberry stuffing and veggies. I had the crab cakes - fresh, not greasy and loaded with lump crab - it came with a pesto couscous -... More
