Innovative menu with some standouts

This trendy spot in Cape May offers enjoyable food with a few very good options. Operated by a restaurant family the YB (younger brother) learned his trade through the family businesses and stints at some top Philly places. At time the small menu seems to try too hard. Our appetizer, the veggie... read more

My wife enjoyed a fabulous breakfast here. While they have a great variety of breakfast fare, it's hard not to love the eggs and potatoes. Well worth the stop

This place was reccomened by our Innkeeper, but we think it is not so good. The menu is not creative. The crab cakes are full of bread, flatbread not so good, Service just OK.

Innovative, creative and original menu that is done well. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a small kitchen yet produce the food seamlessly and seemingly effortlessly. The simple decor leaves you feeling mellow and calm. The excitement and color is on your plate, great presentation. They would make it in any city, this is a great option... More

The most important thing first: it was definetly the best food on our whole trip in the US ...but still no 5 points. Here the reasons: We reserved a table for mothers day - with our 1.5 years- old child. There is a policy that children under a certain age have to be in before 6pm. So we had to... More

Delicious imaginative food at a very reasonable price point for Cape May. Found it very noisy at full capacity and the chairs very uncomfortable. You go there to eat, not to dine if you know what I mean. BYOB.

Small, almost bistro, city-like restaurant. Very modern decor, great service, great and imaginative food. Reservations necessary, no matter what time of the year you go. Great seafood. Right across the street from the ocean promenade.

Enjoyed another great meal here. Even though it was technically the off season, we still made a reservation to be sure we could get in. During the busy season, a reservation for dinner is a must. Pros: -The service is very pleasant and knowledgeable -The food is very good. On this visit we tried the turkey dish featured on Diners,... More

Wow - you will not find a better value in Cape May. Cuisine could best be described as 'modern Mediterranean' - run by family who also run George's Place, not too far away. Excellent, creative dishes, good services - and the prices won't kill you. DO make reservations.

Food is over-priced and one can get a better meal at the sandwich bar at Wawa. Service is terrible; ask the wait staff a question about the food and they can rarely answer it and don't even bother to ask "the chef," if one might call him that. Again, more Cape May hype -- too many folks drinking the-Cape-May-is-great KoolAid!
