What can I say...the food is great every time we dine here! Can't go wrong with the triple D turkey dinner and the salmon is delicious. But you MUST have the mac & cheese poppers!! Plus, the prices can't be beat in Cape May.

We were reluctant to walk in, as there was no line to get in. In Cape May during the high season, most restaurants have a line. We were all very pleasantly surprised at how good the breakfast was. And the waitstaff were very pleasant, attentive, and fun to talk to.

We've been coming here each year since it opened. We usually come every day! Well, that changed since now we have a toddler and they NO highchairs or booster seats. How can a family friendly town have establishments that don't have these simple necessities. So -- you figure -- $40day times 6 more days -- they missed out on some... More

This was the first trip here for the 4 of us and we enjoyed our meals. We started with two large ($10) Greek salads which were plentiful and tasty. We had pork chops, mahi-mahi, salmon and the crab cakes with side orders of olives and pita. Each of us enjoyed our meals. Most of them were accompanied by couscous and... More

After many years vacationing in Cape May decided to try a new place. Overall a wonderful meal, dishes were fresh with beautiful presentation. We tried a few apps, all were delicious, especially the mac and cheese. My son had the pork chop which he proclaimed best ever! My only disappointment is the lack of vegetarian options, even when I asked... More

Chef/owner Pete Karapanagiotis honed his culinary skills at the well regarded Brasserie Perrier in Philadelphia where he was Executive Chef, and it shows in the food - not only in its quality and preparation, but also in its presentation. My wife and I went to The Y.B. on a recent Saturday night. It wasn't yet full, because we reserved for... More

We found YB from social media prior to our arrival at Cape May and made a point to call at 9:00 am on Saturday morning for a reservation that evening. So glad we did! Our dinner was sublime! Service was exceptional (with server recommendations never letting us down, including suggesting an appetizer that was bigger so we could share!) and... More

We literally stumbled upon this restaurant a year ago. We've been going to Cape May for 20 years and have eaten at pretty much every decent restaurant. Other than Washington Inn (a true gem), we had thought the food scene was rather unexceptional--before we dined at yb. Although it's not as distinguished as Washington Inn (nor does it aspire to... My party of 7 enjoyed a semi-private table in the back and had wonderful service and wonderful food. We will be back.

We tried a variety of appetizers and entrees our first time at YB. Our favorite appetizer were the macaroni and cheese poppers and the fish tacos. For entrees the mahi mahi with Israeli Cous Cous was light and refreshing. The presentation was beautiful! The others had the steak, salmon, and for our picky daughter they were able to substitute cheddar... More
