Enjoyed an excellent dinner here. The outdoor seating is fun and relaxing. Portions are hearty so come hungry. I had the pork tenderloin and my friend went with the baked acorn squash. Both were delicious. Desserts are not to be missed as they are home baked.

I am trying to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt because we were 10 for dinner on a Monday evening, but 10 meals should not have been poor. Outdoor ambience/ seating was pleasant. We sat on plastic deck chairs. There were gentle breezes in mid-September, so outdoor dining was nice. The food was the issue at Gecko's. The... More

Wonderful selection of Southwestern food. Very innovative and the flavors are great. The black bean and corn cakes with a salsa with scallions and sour cream were just delicious. So was the vegetarian burrito. The food was great but they need to make some minor changes in service. After finishing the appetizer and salad, they asked me to remove knife... More

The crab dish wasn't very good but the 3 sisters Quesadilla was great. Salsa was really good. Service was pretty good - casual ambiance.

For all the years we've been coming to Cape May this is one of the places that has been on my list. We just went this week and can't wait to go back!!! This is a BYOB and we have visited the Willow Creek Winery earlier in the day and came prepared with Sangria which was perfect!! Where to start?... More

Not your usual southwestern restaurant. Great service, and location. Right at the Washington Street Mall. BYOB

We ate here on a recent Thursday night: two couples, plus a happily well-behaved two year old. The "well behaved" part proved to be important, since from the time we walked in the door (and were seated immediately) to the time we left was a little shy of TWO HOURS. The server, while very friendly, made no mention of the... More

I will be the first to admit that my husband and I walked by this place for two years with our noses in the air thinking that it was going to be really bad tex mex. Something made us stop one night and look closer and are we ever glad we did! We loved it -- we went back two... More

I've got an onion allergy and the wonderful team at Gecko's knew that preparing southwestern food often comes with onions. They adjusted the meal so that I could have a fantastic experience. Plus, the mosquitoes were out in full force the evening we went to Gecko's so the hostess gave us bug spray and lit incense to keep the bugs... More
