We had lunch at Gecko's and food was excellent. They don't give free nachos and salsa, but it's worth ordering one. Good food for the value. more

we went with 2 small children, so having to wait 20 mins beforing even getting our salads and then another 15 or so for the food, was a bit hard for us. Nice small place though and the food was good overall. more

We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. Everything--even the salad--was too sweet! And the tortillas weren't very good, which is a definite problem when tacos are involved. I wouldn't recommend it, and I certainly won't be going back. more

I had dinner at Geckos a few nights ago. There were different choices on the menu, something for everyone. The atmosphere at night was fun with the light on the outside. The food and service were outstanding. Nice to try some southwetern cuisine. more

I have been to Gecko's many times while visiting Cape May and I always have a good meal. The food is fresh and unbeatable. One of my favorites is the pork with sweet potatoes and a blueberry glaze. I've been here on 5 star days, which is why I've returned, but I've been here on 1 star days. I've heard of others getting literally inedible food. Probably has to do with the chef on duty each day. Spin the wheel, take your chances... because when it's good it's unbeatable (for NJ) southwestern food. more
