Consistently good food and service

We had a great meal at Cucina Rosa, one of Cape May's many BYOBs. Our pasta entrees were superb and my husband's sausage appetizer more than enough for two to share. It is sad news for Cucina Rosa fans. They will be closing forever on December 6. We read reviews here and decided we must go one last time. We enjoyed the food and pleasant atmosphere one least time.

On Sept 30 this year (14) madam and I drove down to the inlet in Atlantic City and began our journey south on the Ocean drive. Our destination was Sunset beach, cape may, at sunset, naturally, which we accomplished. We also planned to spend the night at the Capt. Meys B&B and it gets high marks. We didn't have dinner... This was our second time dining at Cucina Rosa (reservations highly recommended especially in the warmer months). It's in a great locations as it's within walking distance to many hotels and inns. The food is reasonably priced and the restaurant is always clean!!! We've found the staff to be knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. Cucina Rosa is BYOB however... More

Reasonably priced but great ambience for my wife and I with delicious food, great service. BYOB or buy retail to drink wine at your table since we're in Cape May. Just across the street from Congress Hall and right on the downtown walkways. Busy and very popular place with the locals and tourists.

My wife and I wanted to enjoy a good Italian dinner in Cape May, and the Cusina Rosa fit the bill nicely. Everything was served very hot, fresh out of the oven. This a BYOB place (too bad I didn't know!) and most of the diners had brought a bottle with them. I started with the Manhattan Clam Chowder, which... More

We had a fantastic meal here a year ago so my husband was dying to go back. We read some recent negative reviews but made reservations anyways because of how great our previous meal was. We should have listened to the reviews. My husbands chicken parm was awful. The chicken was chewy and not tender. The sauce was watery and... More

We came here because we purchased a gift certificate at a fund raiser and we're really glad we did. Our server, Sandy, provided excellent service and we both thought our meals were exceptional. We would rank this among the top Italian restaurants in the area. Our meal began with delicious fresh baked Italian bread served with hot peppers which we... More

We were really looking forward to this meal because we heard great reviews. I don't know if they just had a bad night or what, but it was awful! The bread was ok but nothing special. The salad was bland. I ordered chicken parmigiana and my husband also ordered a chicken dish. The chicken was very tough, and the sauce... More
