We love the atmosphere at Aleathea's, especially for a celebration. They even have live entertainment. (Last year, he played some well known songs for the kids, too... my daughter told him she was his biggest fan, and we had lots of laughs.) We come here every time we visit Cape May.

We have never been disappointed in all the years we have been eating dinner at Aleathea's! The food is simply amazing! The different flavors in the spinach salad alone was enough to make me very happy! The service is perfect, the view of the ocean is so relaxing and the entire menu is yummy and very reasonable. We love to... More

My husband and I came upon Aleathea's one night and decided to have dinner there because they allowed dogs on their porch. Sitting on the porch in the evening was lovely and quaint, and our waitress was fantastic. She even brought out a crystal water bowl for our pooch. The food was where they fell flat. My filet mignon was... More

Waitress was ignorant to wine orders, order was incorrect, food was microwaved, fish was raw and sent back and came back cold and raw again. Vegtables were old, soggy, tastetless and cold. More potatoes than Entree, unwarrantedly expensive and no compension other than numerous empty apologies. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Was there with friends at the "early seating". We all were impressed by the great service and really good tasting menu. Can only recommend this restaurant.

After reading numerous reviews I was sensitive to complaints by previous reviewers. We made reservations and were immediately seated and attended by our waiter. We both ordered appetizers, my wife ordered a spinach salad which she really enjoyed, I ordered mussels which were the largest I have ever eaten in a red sauce, they were good but I prefer the... We both had a wonderful meal at this Cape May hotel restaurant. My friend went out of his way to direct me to this place and I was so glad after eating there. We split a delicious Caesar salad, after having warm and tasty popovers, then he enjoyed his unusual, but succulent scallops (I loved them, too). I tried the... More

We love this place. I can't speak for the dining room since we always sit on the porch rockers but we enjoyed our food on the porch, the live music, the people watching and the beautiful view.

We ate at Aleathea's Restaurant recently. Great service and atmosphere. We ordered the ahi tuna with the lobster hash. We enjoyed the ahi tuna but we were disappointed that the lobster hash contained lobster shells. We alerted the waitress but did nothing. We won't be returning.

We went for the first seating received a nice discount and the food was fabulous. Truly enjoyed our meal and the seating was exactly what patrons could want....a view of the beach and the promenade at Cape May!
