Fresh organic food that has a long history in Cape May

I have been coming to Louisa's for about 30 years. The menu doesn't change a lot but the dishes are always wonderful. I usually get the crabcakes while my wife likes their salmon and blufish. All dishes come with brown rice and a cole slaw. Both salads and desserts are outstanding. When we... read more

I ate at Louisa's last week with another couple and we were very disappointed. I was in and out the door in 50 minutes (and that included dessert). We felt very rushed. The servers were friendly, but the food was tasteless and the place was unsanitary. My utensils were touching the table after it was wiped down with a communal... More

Most of the ingredients come from a local farm and the menu changes based on what's in season. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. The service was great, the food was fresh and prepared well, and the prices were fair. There was a lot of fish on the menu, with two vegetarian options. I don't know if there is more... More

This little store is one of the highlights of our yearly trip to Cape May. They have a fantastic selection of chocolates from around the world and I always leave with a new favorite or hidden gem. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and offer samples of many bars and caramels.

It's near the liquor store so you can BYOB. It's small, make reservations, but it's lively and friendly. You will definitely get to know your fellow diners as the tables are close to each other but you can engage or not, your choice. They have a great selection of fresh local seafood and everything comes with brown rice and slaw.... More

Very good food and excellent service. Fish and vegetables are fresh and the food was delicious. A BYOB which makes the tab reasonable. Overall, we each had a salad and a entrée. The entrees are limited to seafood.

The restaurant was bought by an employee and expanded considerably so getting in was easier. A few additions have been added to the menu, but the feel is much as before only fresher and cheerier. The salads, fish and deserts (especially the bread pudding) are as good as ever. BYOB is a plus.

The food is excellent ... Always fresh. Each entree is simple, usually served with a light cabbage slaw and a dill sauce - Nice. Deserts are good. Bread.- Limited .... Pasta - fresh and simple. All that said, these entrees are not worth the 20+ price. The portions are small. BYOW It's always packed ... so people don't care about... More

We visit Cape May several times each year. We have our favorite restaurants we need to visit each time. But, we always like to find at least 1 new place to try. I am so happy we found Louisa's! Adorable and quaint cafe with a rotating menu that is written with chalk on their wall. Everything is fresh, with many... More

My friends always like to go to Louisa's when they're in Cape May. It is very small and intimate and the expansion has been an improvement. I have never shared their enthusiasm because sometimes we are smooched into a really small spot. This year we had a nice table, atmosphere was great as always and waitstaff was excellent. However, none... More
