Stop by the Chocolate Bar where we have the most delicious Artisan chocolate being made in the beautiful USA! Call for current hours. Our hostess is here at 4. Cozy and romantic place. Need reservation. Food fresh and different entrees each night. Always crowded. Located in the Washington Street Mall.

Let's face it: there's no pleasing some folks. Some reviews of Louisa's have criticized the brown rice and cabbage slaw side dishes that come with all entrees. Those reviewers can take their fussy, high-maintenance palates elsewhere. What you will find at Louisa's is fresh, simply yet expertly-cooked seafood (and an occasional chicken and pasta dish). On a recent visit, I... More

I am a local here in the Wildwood and Cape May areas and Louisa's is hands down one of my most favorite places to go! Everything they make is absolutely delicious and all of their ingredients are fresh and healthy. My most favorite items on the menu, which changes due to seasonal ingredients, are the sesame peanut noodles and the... More

My husband and I were in Cape May this past weekend. We walked past the line-up to get into Louisa's and decided to make a reservation for the next evening (Sunday). We were not at all impressed with the quality of the food. I had pasta that was made with canned tomatoes with very little seasoning and a few pieces... More

Charming decor and wait staff, a dozen tables -- cozy but not cramped -- and an appealing menu of fresh, local dishes. The 2 Beach Plum Farm specials we tried were excellent: radish microgreens with beets and spring lettuce mix with grilled asparagus. Ditto the carrot & dill soup as a starter. Ginger sesame noodles with scallions, cucumbers, and peanuts... More

Louisa's Cafe was recommended to us by some locals and they told us IF you can get in, to definitely give them a try. It's a very small restaurant (perhaps 20 +/- seats). Very friendly waitstaff and a limited but nice menu selection on a whiteboard on one walls of the cafe. We loved it so much we made reservations... More

Had another outstanding meal @ Louisa's on Saturday. The best. We go every time we're @ the Cape. Expect cozy, byo, healthy in a good way, blackboard menu, excellent, house made desserts.

I wrote an honest review. The owner's response is a reflection of the restaurant. My comments in Parenthesis. We appreciate that you took the time to write a review and also appreciate that you are a self described foodie, (rude, but yes. I eat at joses garces, steven starr, Marc Vetri's restaurants as well as small chef owner restaurants and... More

The food is ok - at best. I'm not really a fan of looking around the room and seeing the same sides on everyone's plate. It makes me think, really? That's all the effort/creativity the kitchen can muster up for a $30 entrée? On top of the food issue, I'm a little confused by their BYOB policy. A word of... More
