For delicious and food and drinks offered at very reasonable prices... Put CARNEY's at the top of your list. My husband and I were in Cape May for a few days. We enjoy doing Happy Hour when we are there. We have gone there for years, but never gone in to Carney's. That will never happen again! We were greeted by the bartender Dominic and automatically felt like we were locals! Dominic is very engaging and is the most... More

We hit Carney's for a rainy day happy hour on our recent visit to Cape May. They have a great happy hour menu with $5 apps. We got a couple flatbread pizzas, calamari, and fish tacos (all from the $5 menu) as well as some wings from the regular menu. Plenty of food...every bit was eaten. The atmosphere is nothing... More

This place is just across the main beach on Ocean drive. 3-6 pm is happy hour so u get Orange mixed drinks and variety of appetizers for $5 otherwise drinks for $8. Nice staff, very polite and soooo helping. It has 2 bars and a stage, nights are full packed and pretty happening.

We went here expecting something mediocre, as we have dined here years ago and weren't that impressed. Something definitely changed! The food was amazing. We dined between 4 and 6 pm and were able to purchase the early bird special. The place was not crowded at all! Air conditioner was pumping and made for a comfortable environment. The food selection... More

Food and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. Typical beach bar on the jersey shore. In the evening they are required by a city ordinance to employ a bouncer. Need I say more?

There are actually two Carney's; right next to each other. We ate in the one called Carney's Other Room. They told us it was the same menu, just a quieter atmosphere. It’s probably also more family-friendly because there's less of a bar scene. Since we were going to a show at Cape May Stage we needed to eat early and... More

Loud and local. Took wife and kids here after a twenty year absence and it was fun. A bit expensive, but I had the crab cakes which were excellent! Wouldn't go here with the kids after 8-9pm but fun nonetheless.

A little pricey on the alcohol, but a good place in Cape May for after dinner drinks. Right on Beach Ave, you can grab a bite too with the bar menu. Staff is friendly and service was quick. A little dark inside for my liking. Overall pretty good.

We're a family of four and we got there pretty early, around 5:30. The music was insanely loud but I figure it's that sort of establishment. Husband had clams to start which he said were delicious. I had buffalo chicken wings. Entrees: I had the fish and chips. The fish was lovely and chunky and the batter, thin and crispy,... More
