The Lobster House is right on the water at the base of the Cape May bridge; exit zero on the parkway. This is the place to go if you like seafood. The seafood is fresh each day. There are also land lover choices on the menu for those who prefer steak or chicken. The chicken francaise is a favorite of... More

The Restaurant is good but the best is to use the take-out menu and go out back to the docks(there are tables). If you go in the middle of the day the boats are getting back from a hard day of fishing, they close part of the dock to move the seafood, the kids will have fun watching. the fried... More

Very good all around restaurant with a variety of locations to dine. Each spot has its own nautical flavor and seafood menu. Cocktails on the schooner are a must.

You can always count on a good meal and nice service. No better place for .. lobster. Drinks out on the ship are great fun.

We've been going here for 30 years - off and on. We try it at least once every season and generally aren't happy about the food or the value. Still people love it - and I don't get it. The service can be spotty, since it is seasonal staff. The fish tends to be overcooked, which I really don't like.... More

Lobster House is located in a picturesque setting - on a dock next to a waterway where boaters can come up to the Lobster House outside dining deck. The inside main restaurant is nice - typical seafood atmosphere - I personally like the front dining room with the checked table cloths. The food is good inside. Outside - take out... More

The Lobster House is a Cape May staple. Is it great? No. Is it consistently good? Yes. The Lobster House has a bit of everything for everyone. If you like dining in a maritime setting, the dining room is perfect for you. If you like dining on the docks, literally within reach of the fishing fleet, then the dock and... More

Been going to the Lobster House at least 3 times a year for the past 27 years. Yeah I'm old. ( lol). It was my 29th wedging anniversary and my wife wanted the broiled lobster. Although it was packed we were seated within a reasonable time. Our server Theresa was new and learning which was fine, she was very upbeat... More

After reviewing multiple restaurants we decided on The Lobster House. The char-broiled swordfish was tasty and the sauteed crab cakes were delicious. We also need to mention the amazing bread served with our salads. Service was excellant and we enjoyed our view. The only downside was the acoustics in the large dining area...it was pretty loud. And we happened to... More

We go to the lobster house a couple times a year. I like that they haven't bought into the "a la carte" menu. We always get the broiled fisherman's wharf platter. Their takeout fish market is really great. Their clams casino from the fish market are very good value and wonderful! This place has been around forever and solid. The... More
