This resturaunt was truly delightful. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. The food was delicious...must try seafood cioppono. The dull lighting adds a very cozy feel and the variety of cocktails and wines are impressive and delicious.

We recently dined at the Washington Inn. The atmosphere was pleasant and the wait staff very attentive. However, I was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered the fresh fig appetizer. The figs were tasty but they were served on raisin bread spread with cheese. The raisin bread was the same variety that came in our bread basket. My entree... More

We stayed at the Queen Victoria and they have a 3 course wine pairing package that can't be beat! The braised lamb and cavatelli, Meyers steak, and Seafood Cioppino were awesome...not to mention the Mousse Tower for dessert! The service from Victoria was incredible and will not be forgotten!

Our family reserved the wine cellar room for a family reunion and 60th anniversary celebration. The staff could not have been more gracious. The food was superb. I had the rack of lamb. My daughter had the pork chop. Both were incredible! From the bread to the appetizer to the entree (we had dessert plans somewhere else), there was such... More

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner here but we weren't "wow'ed" by it. We had heard really good things so we had high expectations. The decor us nice and everything was good, including the service. But, we felt the menu and food were average.

This place is great. Mostly enjoy sitting at the Wine Bar. TJ is the best. The most genuine, friendly person I've come across. Makes you feel welcome and is always on top of service. Then comes the food...it is fantastic!! Personal favorites are the happy hr $1 oysters, then the crab cake and braised lamb cavatelli...wow!! Wine flights are a... More

The Washington Inn, in the heart historic Cape May, has a lot of competition. The city has had a restaurant renaissance in the past 30 years that doesn't show signs of waning. But, in my book, the Washington Inn comes out on top year after year. Happy hour, every day from 5 - 7 features buck-a-shuck local oysters and quite... More

While skeptical that fine dining could really be truly fine, at Cape May - I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was attentive, the ambiance was charming, the food was superb, and the overall experience was nothing short of excellent. As far room for improvement, I am not sure their wine menu is priced on par with value, and it's almost... More

This is a good place to eat. Good food but pricy. Unique atmosphere. Service is good. They offer valet parking.

We sat is a small room in the front and our table was ready when we arrived. We had a great night - the waiter was excellent. The wine we selected was not available and the waiter was able to find an "upgrade" for which we were charged the lower price of the wine we had originally selected. I had... More
