We visited the Pilot House on their last day prior to closing for renovation. We ordered burgers and red wine - we figured for other entrees they might be trying to clear out the kitchen, kind of like emptying your refrigerator before going on a long vacation. Our meal was very good, served promptly by friendly staff. It will be... More

The place is under new owner ship and leaves you scratching your head. I had a glass of wine at the bar. The staff looked at me weird - I came right from work. I guess they didn't like my uniform. The staff is very slow- if u even get attention!!

We had dinner at Pilot House Restaurant. It is well located in the heart of Cape May. The service was friendly and attentive. I understand they are under new management and are due to close for remodeling soon. However, if they are remaining open prior to renovation, they owe it to the customer to put out the best food they... More

My family went for lunch. We were seated with a sparse crowd. We ordered. The restataurant filled up. The restauranrt emptied. We were still waiting for our food. Two kids meals, four adult meals from the specials of the day - two philly chicken cheese steak wraps, one veggies burger, one steak sandwich. The best part of the meal was... More

First experience left something to be desired. I ordered the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and my wife ordered the Crispy Cod Tacos. Presentation was nice, but the egg rolls don't really work very well. The egg rolls were too doughy, overpowering the steak and cheese. My wife said her tacos were good, but they arrived with guacamole, pico de gallo,... More

The Pilot House previous owners have sold and the new management seems to be an upgrade as far as the look of the place, the atmosphere, and the food..

Stopped in here after visiting the exposed railroad tracks at Sunset Beach. It was cold and bitter outside and we were greeted with a lite fireplace, the football game on the tv and great service. This is a small restaurant/bar located a few blocks off the main shops. The menu is eclectic. My daughter started with the french onion soup... More

My wife and I went to the Pilot House for an early meal. We were greeted warmly and had a nice table. We both ordered the early bird specials the price was good and it included salad and a desert. We ordered Chicken Parmesan . The chicken was tough and chewy my wife hardly ate any of it. I ate... More
