A "fine" dining experience

Nice relaxed upscale atmosphere. Very attentive staff with excellent service. The cucumber gazpacho soup was full of flavor. My dining partners opined the calamari to be a bit too salty. The hangar steak was perfectly prepared and the best I have ever eaten. The vanilla creme brûlée was incredibly... read more

Nice relaxed upscale atmosphere. Very attentive staff with excellent service. The cucumber gazpacho soup was full of flavor. My dining partners opined the calamari to be a bit too salty. The hangar steak was perfectly prepared and the best I have ever eaten. The vanilla creme brûlée was incredibly delicious. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Our absolute favorite this year. We travel to the Cape every year for over 40 years. Great atmosphere! The best scallops ever. Many great dining spots on the Cape, but this the 2015 favorite among our group. 1 small negative the AC was not quite up to what you expect a on a 90+ day.

Expansive, comfy veranda and indoor porch seating makes this an ideal locale for relaxing with a cocktail. Fortunately, they serve some of the best cocktails I've had in Cape May (try the Old Fashioned or Mint Julep if you like bourbon). We enjoyed our drinks and calamari appetizer so much that we returned for a second round later in the... More

Unfortunately we did not eat here but we did stop in for some drinks. The porch was filled so we sat at the bar. The dining area was elegant, with a view into the inn itself. The piano player was outstanding. They had a fine selection of wine and cocktails. My one complaint would be the lack of A/C....it was... More

Went to the Ebbitt Room and had drinks on the porch. Love just sitting there watching the people stroll by while having a drink. Ate in the dining room. Pretty room with nice atmosphere, food was very good, my husband had a local fish which he said was excellent, I had the chicken which was also very good. Their calamari... More

Had a nice dinner here last week with friends after first enjoying a cocktail on the porch. This was our first meal here and dinner was delicious, although we had to send one meal back because it was undercooked and by the time it returned to the table, everyone else was finished and the table was cleared. To be fair,... More

Sitting on the front porch, enjoying wine and cheese, while horse drawn carriages pass by - what a great way to relax after a day at the beach.

stopped by to have a cocktail and the service was good. Cocktails were well prepared. The singer was very nice. We sat on the covered porch and it was a wonderful place to relax at the end of a long beach day.

My family and I dined in early June and had a wonderful meal. The deviled eggs were to die for! My kids loved the Duck dish and the Truffle Mac & Cheese. The service was on-point, from start to finish. Highly recommend. A must-go for fine dining in Cape May.
