Dined at the bar one night and in the dining room the next. Food was excellent and we found a special bottle of French red that was perfection.

Firing on all cylinders, the Ebbitt Room matched understated Victorian elegance (nothing kitschy) with attentive, knowledgable service and delicious food. With many items locally sourced and everything beautifully prepared, the foodie in you will be most pleased. The portions were just right and the timing of their appearance at the table was spot on, despite the very busy evening of... More

My wife and I had Valentine's Day dinner at the Ebbitt Room this past weekend. For $75 per head, we had four impeccably prepared courses that was some of the best food we've eaten in a while. We had reservations and did have to wait, but not too long considering what day it was. The service was outstanding! Sergio, our... More

If it's the little things in life that make it, this isn't the place. It is fine dining for sure. The food is nice and well presented. The service is fine. The price is high. It seems like an exciting place to be with the very nice lounge area and bar. It just doesn't feel like a super nice place... More

We were seated right away, and given complimentary glasses of champagne for my husband's 40th birthday. Our server had wonderful recommendations for us. We tried the signature appetizer, the deviled eggs. We were a little hesitant, but they were DELICIOUS! There were three eggs, each topped with a fried banana, steak, or calamari. I had the scallops & my husband... More

We went for dinner and as soon as you walked all you saw were these beautiful balloons everywhere. You definitely felt like it was New Year's Eve. The place was decorated so beautifully and the three course meal was amazing. I also enjoyed the champagne as soon as we were seated.

We always dine at the Ebbit Room when we visit Cape May. Many of their foods come from their local farm ~ their deviled egg appetizer is incredibly creative and delicious!!! We love having a drink in the bar before dinner; their homemade popcorn creation changes nightly and is wonderful! I wish the popcorn would come out at 4:00 when... More

We had dinner here this past weekend and were very pleased. Located within the Virginia Hotel it has great decor and style with a nice seating area and bar before you enter the main dining area. The service was attentive and not overbearing and the food very good. Most of the meat is sourced from a local farm the area... More
