We went out for an early dinner about 5pm and were immediately seated outside. We ordered the lobster roll and lobster quesadilla. The lobster roll was good but some of the lobster pieces were dry and the french fries were soggy. The quesadilla was very good and was quite a large portion. Our waitress was pleasant but not too attentive.... More

My husband and I both had the fish and chips...really tasty. The cod fish was fresh tasting and not at all greasy...served with fries and coleslaw. I chose the cocktail sauce served with it...a good alternative to ketchup. The service was friendly and although it was busy our orders came quite quickly. The restaurant is very clean. My only negative... More

Starting with a wonderful waitress (Alison) and a comfortable seat outside where we watched the vacationers walk buy, the Cape May Fish Market experience was (as usual) wonderful! This team will prepare your fish exactly the way you want it and give you an enjoyable experience. Try the fish taco wraps! It's a BYOB restaurant, so make sure to get... More

When you go to this restaurant, make sure that you're hungry. They give you plenty to eat, and the food is really good. My grandson had a salmon steak that was so large, he ended up bringing half of it home. The server was very nice, too.

Went here last year and had a very good dinner. My husband was looking forward to going back when we got here this week. What a disappointment. Had lunch there today and I had the fish quesadilla, which was tasty but extremely soggy. My husband ordered the crabcake sandwich which was written up as "jumbo lump crabmeat ". It was... More

First time here. Good service. Had the broiled seafood platter which was very good, except the shrimp were bland. Scallops were delicious! Vegetables were nicely seasoned & sautéed. Very lively, busy atmosphere, although the lighting was very dim inside. Overall, a very nice dinner.

This is our second year going to the cape may fish market for dinner. It was as good as the first time. They could season the crab stuffed shrimp & flounder a little more but they were still good. The sweet potato fries were great!!

Portions were huge, the food was very good and service was quick. The fried sampler platter was enough for two people, so I did need a doggie bag. My husband loved the lobster. It's byob, so if you plan to have wine or beer, bring it with you.

I have walked past CMFC for years, and we needed a quick easy meal in the area so we have it a try. Ate here twice on our last Cape May trip. Sat inside and outside. Both were pleasant. Food was great. Lobster roll is of the no-mayo version an was excellent. Fried calamari was also a standout.

We had a nice family dinner here. Salads were great and so was the fish selection. We really enjoy the location and sitting outside. No liquor though! :(
