Ate at hoopers tonight after being on the island for 40+ years. The atmosphere is cozy casual. Loved it at first sight. Monica was a great server! She was the reason I wanted to give it a 5!! We were greeted with a lovely bread basket. My husband had 6 succulent oysters that were perfectly fresh! Yum!! The salad was... More

Great seafood with a lot of seafood choices. You can eat in or take out. Crab cakes were excellent, 15pc shrimp dinner is great value. Fish and chips were 'ok' plenty of fish but was a little greasy on the bottom. All the sides were excellent.

My husband and I were looking for a good seafood dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. We went here based on other reviews. The food was good. We ordered mussels in a red sauce for an appetizer which was excellent. I had the horseradish crusted salmon which didn't have the punch I was looking for. It was good but not at... More

First time at Hoopers and we were pleasantly surprised. Terrific Meal! Excellent garlic clams, scallops, tuna & shrimp! Tami, our waitress was terrific and the owner/chef appreciated our comments! We will be back!

Always a nice meal and trip to Hoopers! The staff is always kind and helpful to do anything they can to give you a nice experience at Hoopers! I had the Stuffed Portabello Appetizer Special with jumbo lump crabmeat. It was delicious! It was over mixed greens with a balsamic drizzle. My husband and I had a Lobster corn chowder... More

We wanted a great seafood dinner and we found it. This time we were a group of 8. Arrived about 5:15 and though there were two tables, we waited 10 min to accommodate our large party; no problem, we sat and had a glass of wine (BYOB) outside while waiting. The staff was attentive, our waitress Dana was great. The... More

My husband and I visited Hooper's in July 2014 while staying in Brigantine for the week. My husband is not a big seafood eater, but he chose the ribs for his meal and enjoyed them. I had the seafood Fra Diablo. I thought that the seafood was very fresh and prepared very well... and there was a lot of it!... More

What a fantastic little find! This is a small restaurant, so the crowds get a little large at peak times, but they work you in very quickly. We only had to wait about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday night. It is well worth the wait!! BYOB. We had the shrimp Creole, the seafood fra Diablo, and a blackened tuna... More

We are on vacation for a week and had dinner at Hoopers. The food was very well prepared. It is BYOB so it helped keep the cost of meal down. The staff was very attentive. Would recommend this establishment to anyone vacationing in Brigantine.

Ate here last week when at the shore for the week. Seafood is very good. I had stuffed flounder, my wife stuffed shrimp. Fresh & nicely prepared. Only downside, place is small & cramped which translates into very noisy. Had trouble carrying on a conversation. Remember it's BYOB so bring your own favorite refreshment if you want to drink
