Visited Hooper's as part of a party of six people recently. I am not a lover of all seafood, although I have had their delicious blackened tuna bites, shrimp dishes, clam chowder, clams casino, etc. My brother pre-arranged a steak for me in advance and it was a deliciously prepared steakhouse-quality medium rare sirloin. Was very happy with my meal.... More

Upon walking into Hooper's with my family without a reservation, we were greeted in a warm and friendly manner by the cheerful waitress. The place was quite happening for 8 p.m. on a Sunday evening. She approached me and said I'd like you to "take a look at a table I have available" and if it's not to your liking,... More

good food, BYO. My family enjoyed our meal. Only complaint was when we asked for the doggie bags, they removed the butter from the rolls basket that we didn't finish. Could have used that butter! The seafood was good though and the past delish.

After reading all of the reviews, I was expecting a very good meal and came away disappointed. The staff was great - extremely pleasant and attentive. Kudos to the hostess also. However the food was inconsistent. Two seafood boils were overcooked overall, yet the lobster was cooked to perfection. The seafood diablo was too spicy, akin to Thai style spicy.... More

Went for dinner as early as possible because I knew they didn't take reservations. What a meal! Everything was delicious and fresh, the staff was excellent, and it's a cozy atmosphere. Love the shrimp! Good job Mike!

On a busy Saturday night, knew the wait would be long. So at the suggestion tried the take out option. A few limited tables are outdoors that can be enjoyed for the take out. Great cool summer nights breeze, same excellent food and able to BYOB. Just perfect for a rare cool night summer night to enjoy outdoors. Prices are... More

We visited brigantine w/ no appreciation for how wonderful the food and warm the authenticity would be at Hoopers. The owners made our family feel like theirs and the food satisfied every hope we imagined!

Hooper's is the best dinner restaurant in town! I love how small the place is- it's like you're eating at home. Service is great, food is even better!

Just excellent food and service. Perfect little beach town seafood restaurant. Not pretentious, not full of themselves. Simple decor, tables and chairs. Great food and great service. It is a little hidden away, residential street... but worth the search. Been there twice, and will return.
