Hoopers is always good

Hoopers has great seafood. Dining area is a little tight but its nice friendly atmosphere. My wife was a tad LOUD, we had to quiet her down a little. Regardless the meal was outstanding. Its a BYOB place and they have no problem providing a nice ice bucket for your wine bottle.

From the moment we stepped into this quaint restaurant we new it would be a wonderful dinning experience. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. As an appetizer we had the Tuna bites = Fabulous! All of our dinners were delicious. Can't wait to go back.

After seeing a good rating on trip advisor, we made the 2½ hour trip to Brigantine, NJ. We were seated right away, and our orders were taken. Appetizers arrived quickly, and boy were those clams good! The clam chowder was excellent!!! We enjoyed our entrees - Lobster Bake and Sea Scallops. Our waitress, Joan was knowledgeable and courteous. The owner... More

Great seafood and the best it's bring your own bottle. Not a place for a romantic dinner but good value food.

This place is adorable and has a family friendly environment. The food is fresh and delicious. We had calamari to start that was made fresh, NOT frozen. Two people at my table had the blackened Chilean sea bass special; it was cooked perfectly and complimented with corn relish that was out of this world. I will visit this place every... More

We had stopped going to Hoopers after a few disappointing trips but I'm glad to report after a visit this past weekend I'll be going back again often. It's a great place to enjoy very good seafood dishes in a casual shore restaurant. It's small and tight inside but clean and bright which is all you can ask of a... More

A no-frills high quality seafood restaurant with fast and attentive service. BYOB but no corking fee. The wait is usually 15-20 minutes for dinner but well worth it.

I've been going to Hooper's for many years now and have always had a great experience. My very favorite is the Lobster Bisque and the mustard-cocktail sauce that they serve with their shrimp cocktail, it is so tasty! The Petite lobster tails and crab legs are a favorite of our whole family. I've also gotten take out from Brigantine Seafood... More

I had the fried seafood combo. Reminded me of the old time combos when I was younger. It brought back memories. Excellent, prob the best I ever had, and plenty of food. My wife had the Alaskan king crab. They were great looking and big. She told me they were among the best she ever had. The only thing she... More
