I have read many positive reviews on this place and I truly looked forward to coming here. I must admit I was a bit disappointed when I first arrived. Oh the place is most definitely a butcher shop, but it's also a convenience store, a deli, a local hang out, and a sandwich shop. All of those things but definitely... More

A real old time butcher shop They are there to please. Everything is fresh and cut to order. The bacon is the best. He makes his own sausage and its delicious. In the summer get there early to find it I especially love the sausage with broccoli rabe. Sandwiches are great too.

Found this Deli / Butcher shop on Brigantine island. The sandwiches are very good. Just figure on allowing a little time since the two times we were in there were a little bit busy. They also had a Little hot buffet set out of a few different items

Title says it all! Give yourself time if visiting around noon as it does get crowded and everything is made fresh to order.

Delicious and creative sandwich offerings! My husband picked up sandwiches from Ernest & Sons for lunch on the beach. He enjoyed a cheese steak, while I had a special with salami, prosciutto, sharp provolone and roasted red peppers. Absolutely amazing and satisfied my craving for a yummy Italian style grinder. Ernest & Sons is becoming our new favorite spot on... More

Can't beat the sausage, but they also hand cut anything you want. I love that when I was here midweek by myself, I could go here and Mel would cut me a chicken cutlet to cook. Two for one Friday freezer specials were a blessing before I moved here full time, and still a back up staple in my freezer
