Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday since I heard this place gets crowded and it is pretty small. Got the calamari for an appetizer. It was a little tough, but not bad and the marinara sauce that accompanied it was quite tasty. Prior to the entree being served, you get a complimentary bowl of soup. It had... More

Food is excellent. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait for a table. Large parties may be able to call ahead.

What a surprise! This restaurant is absolute heaven. Great food - friendly service, unusual menu, and would hold its own in any locale, but to find this just a short ride from the boardwalks and beaches of Point Pleasant and Seaside makes it a ray of joy in the mire of local greasy spoons and tourist traps. Check them out... More

Tucked into a small nondescript building on the way to the beach is one of the best meals you will find anywhere. The Spanish Potato offers authentic Portuguese/Spanish cuisine prepared fresh at a fair price. From the paella and mariscada to the wild board and steak ala plancha each entree is well presented and delicious. Still working through the appetizers... More

Nice dinner out for the three of us. My wife and mother in-law shared a paella. was full of shellfish and assorted meat and very tasty. I had the wild boar special, it was very good not the first time i had this dish. Plenty of leftovers, good service only complaint the waiter wanted to charge us a plate fee... More

This was our second visit. The first was dinner. Portions are big and delicious. However, If you get the lobster tail it is not big so don't expect a huge tail after all it is lobster at a rather low price. Really the worst part was the waitress who did not know what picadinho was. That is a classic dish. Rather... More

We just visited Spanish Potato Grill for the 4th time this summer. Maybe we just hit a bad night, but it appears that some cost cutting has occurred. There was no olive oil on the table to dip the wonderful Portuguese rolls. In addition, the rice was NOT saffron rice and my strip steak with scallops was very chewy and... More

Spanish Potato is a tiny gem on Mantoloking Road in Brick NJ....it has FRESH seafood every night and the specials are terrific....I've been there twice, and the assorted seafood platters for two were amazing......portions are ample and you may BYOB....and they will make fresh sangria from the wine you bring! Don't miss this restaurant!

The Spanish Potato has exceptional and authentic cuisine. The appetizers were fresh and delicious. The paella was excellent and required a take home bag. The service was exceptional and the owner visited every table, We're going back for the lobster.

We've been to the Spanish Potato Grill a few times, and absolutely love it! It's a BYOB, which is great because they'll take your wine and make sangria for you!! When you first sit down, they bring out a platter of freshly made potato chips, so throw out your low carb diet for the night, because they're irresistible! The dinner... More
