The Palermo Steak sandwich keeps me from having to go to Philadelphia (Phillie) to get quality tasty steak sandwich. The Tomato pie is superb, the pannini's are awesome.
I went here based on reviews I read on TA. I was passing through on my way home. I made a special trip to stop and try the tomato pie. I ordered a tomato pie and a regular pie for take out. The restaurant is basic pizza joint in a strip mall. wood tables with ok chairs, outdated ceiling fans... More

I asked the very friendly server what she recommended. Without hesitation she recommended a frilled chicken sandwich with vodka sauce and provolone. The sandwich... More

They said that people came in late quite often and... More

Wow, this tomato pie was so amazing. Our friends took us here for dinner while we were on vacation. The food was so good we went back 2 days later! I wish I could have some tomato pie now. MMmmmmmmm.
I first experienced Palermo's food when our workplace ordered a bunch of pies from them for a party. I was amazed at the tomato pie. I had eaten tomato pie before, including the often cited DeLorenzo's and was not very impressed. Until - I had Palermos! Ymm! I regularly ordered it from them since then ( six years ago). Now,...
