I have visited numerous brew pubs in my years and enjoyed many however this wasn't one that I'd return to again. One needs to remember that food is the fastest depreciating commodity on the face of the planet: it's food today and tastes great and it's crap tomorrow. That's normally how it happens but this restaurant was the opposite direction.... More

We were here for a work Christmas party. There were about 20 people in our group. Our dinner took a really long time to come out - over 1.5 hours after we ordered. I had tilapia on pasta, and the pasta was swimming in butter. WAY too much!!! It was difficult to get drink refills. The food wasn't bad, but... More

With table cloths and the feel of a true restaurant. There is an upstairs as many small quant restaurant like to do. I had escargot and crab cakes for lunch. They were able to accommodate a guest with vegetarian needs. The waiter was able to answer question and make changes. The place is clean, and well lit. The food was... More

We were in the area for a wedding and had dinner at the Farnsworth House. It was amazing, from the bread, to the salad, all the way to the main meal. The service was fantastic and the staff made you feel genuinely welcome.

If you don't mind sitting in the crowded bar area to dine, otherwise you must walk UP many stairs to the dining room. We don't go as often because of this but the food is excellent as well as the service. It is a good place to dine. Try it at least once.

We chose this place from a menu in the inn where we were staying - the food looked interesting. However, we did not expect to walk into what looked just like a regular bar. It was a Sunday night so it was not busy, and neither the bar nor the TV s were very intrusive. The food was good -... More

Went here for dinner, on the advice of the nearby hotel where I was staying. I had asked for a good, "non-chain" place for a salad and glass of wine. Too bad I chose this one from the list... For starters, the high top table where I was seated was jammed in a corner beside the bar and it looked... More

We wanted to try the top-rated place across the street, but it was closed that night. This was a good find. It's a friendly, local, old-fashioned place with public parking right next door. There's a bar with TV but it's not loud--a good place for a business meal. The tilapia entrees come with a good salad (a rarity these days)... More

For dinner, Farnsworth House is a nice, slightly pricey restaurant. We went on Friday night right after Thanksgiving, and it was actually pretty empty (the other party left after we ordered). Service was friendly and helpful, and it was a nice environment. In regards to the food, entrees are about $20-35, but they do come with the soup de jour... More

We eat here often and bring guests. There is a full bar with great martinis, excellent and creative food in several price points. The waitstaff is knowledgable and professional.
