Not Bad

Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Food isn't bad. We usually go for lunch. They put too much garlic in their "Italian" dishes. Being 100% Italian, I feel that garlic should only be used to enhance and not the first thing you taste. But I do enjoy their burgers and their other sandwiches.

First time to Bordentown. The town was charming - with its own personality but sort of a blend of Haddonfield, Collingswood and Flemington... The restaurant was nothing special, but a pleasant surprise - in other words, I wasn't expecting much from this location, but was very pleased with what I found. Bordentown is definitely worth exploring/revisiting. If I lived closer,... More

I met a friend here for lunch and we sat at the window enjoying Bordentown's large Christmas tree. Jester's is also decorated nicely for the holidays and there is music playing in the background. We both had the pulled pork sandwich which was very good (a bit sweet) but they do advertise it as such. The accompanying fries were cooked... More

Great local restaurant. In the summer, enjoy outdoor dining. The staff is courteous and pleasant. The food is excellent, and great value for the price. We eat there or take out from there at least twice a month.

We stopped for lunch during an autumn day trip to Bordentown. We started with the prosciutto and mozzarella appetizer, which was delicious. I ordered the Jester burger, well cooked and topped with broccoli rabe and mozzarella that gave it a unique taste. My wife enjoyed the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza. Service was fast and very good. Prices are reasonable, total... More

Stopped in with family and friends after a benefit at Old City Hall. I had heard good things about this place but the visit did not live up to expectations. Each of my family members ordered a burger. Not one of them was cooked to how we ordered them. Each burger was to be medium or medium well. These burgers... More

We stopped by this place for a quick bite to eat, and found a treasure of a restaurant! We ate outdoors and had a variety of dishes. Service was great, everyones meals were fabulous, service was above and beyond! Highly recommend the steak sandwich

in other reviews, i have stated pulled pork is my crack, and was not disappointed here, very tender well cooked meat, intriguing sauce that had me inquiring about ingredients... i was guessing a sweet wine, but being a total teetotaler my entire life, could not place taste- turns out was "a splash of brandy" . fries were exceptional as well-... This cafe has a nice atmosphere. I ordered an eggplant parmesian sandwich and I must say this is a place that gets it done right. It was not dry and it was not also soggy and oily. It was done just right and tasted good. We were in a hurry so we did not stay for long.
