Stopped in with family and friends after a benefit at Old City Hall. I had heard good things about this place but the visit did not live up to expectations. Each of my family members ordered a burger. Not one of them was cooked to how we ordered them. Each burger was to be medium or medium well. These burgers... More

We stopped by this place for a quick bite to eat, and found a treasure of a restaurant! We ate outdoors and had a variety of dishes. Service was great, everyones meals were fabulous, service was above and beyond! Highly recommend the steak sandwich

in other reviews, i have stated pulled pork is my crack, and was not disappointed here, very tender well cooked meat, intriguing sauce that had me inquiring about ingredients... i was guessing a sweet wine, but being a total teetotaler my entire life, could not place taste- turns out was "a splash of brandy" . fries were exceptional as well-... This cafe has a nice atmosphere. I ordered an eggplant parmesian sandwich and I must say this is a place that gets it done right. It was not dry and it was not also soggy and oily. It was done just right and tasted good. We were in a hurry so we did not stay for long.

Went to Jester's a couple months ago with on a Thurday night with my group ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out). We rotate many area restaurants monthly and usually include Jester's annually or so. Our group of 10 men all found the food to be poor this time. Myself and another man ordered Veal Parmagian. The meat was so tough... More

Wife and I stopped by on a Friday night, had never been to Jester's before. She had chicken parm and I had a stuffed rigatoni special that was terrific. Excellent bottle beer list, draft list nothing special.

Waited 35 minutes for pizza & didn't get the pizza! Stopped in last night for a quick pizza with 3 others before a Trenton Thunder baseball game last night. Immediately mentioned to the waitress as soon as we were seated that we were trying to catch the game. She acknowledged & said she'd try to get us in & out... More

We had an event to attend in Bordentown and happened to see a review of this restaurant in the newspaper and decided to give it a try. It started out well but then after we ordered the food took an extremely long time to come out. As we had the other engagement and had allotted 2 hours for the meal... More

I feel this place is nothing special at all, it's just so-so. It could be better if they tried, I feel like years ago they were. Food comes out cold, drinks aren't even good and prices are too steep and don't match the quality of food that is given to you as well as the service.
