Just a great, affordable, unique place. A real South Jersey treasure. The tomatoes and basil are off-the-vine fresh, the decor is eclectic, and the owners are cheerful and sassy. Great place to go.

Alfred's provides such a fresh perspective on pizza on the Pike. The Black Horse Pike is known for its abundance of pizzerias, but Alfred's proves to be different. First of all, the decor is bright and has a touch of hippiness to it. The pizza is different from anything else on the Pike. It's thin crust with chunky tomato sauce... More

I almost hate to post this review as this is still a quaint and sort of unknown pizza place. Simply put - this pizza is outstanding. The salad is wonderful and plentiful too. It is BYOB and that is great as well. Compared to other local pizza places, the pizza is expensive. However, the pizza is huge, with a very... More

I'm from North Jersey so my opinion on pizza is very biased. We were in South Jersey for an overnight stay and my husband found this place during an online search. The atmosphere is great - like being in a friend's kitchen. The menu is all about their thin crust pizza and toppings. We opted for the Buffalo Chicken pie... More

Alfred's Pizza is outstanding. Service is always excellent. The house salad is one of the best salads that we've ever tasted. An owner is always on premise. You're never rushed. Bring your own wine and truly enjoy your dinner. Mom's homemade desserts are exceptional.

Let me start by saying the waitress we had was exceptional! Very personal and polite service! Not crazy about the plastic plates and cups but it won't deter me from going back. The atmosphere is very "kitch" and mismatched but I loved it! It's bright and warm... Doesn't feel stuffy. Now let's talk food... The salad was all it's cracked... More

The good: The salad for 2 easily fed 5 of us. It was tasty and fresh. The bad: We ordered 3 pies, a plain and a white pie with broccoli. The white pie was barely OK, not much taste. The plain pie had maybe an ounce and a half of cheese on it, meaning each slice had a tiny dribble,... More

My wife and I recently went to Alfred's for the food for a family evening birthday party. We had heard about the pizza from our son and were anxious to try it. WOW! We were really impressed. We got several pizzas and their salad. The pizza was one of the best we have ever had. The crust was very crispy... More

This place is ran by the owners and they really care. You must try the salad with toasted sesame seeds, green pitted olives and great dressing. The pizza is super thin and crispy. Byob friendly. The house made lemonade with fresh fruit is really good.

A pizza fanatic from way back when, I have eaten pizza at hundreds of places over the years. Holy Tomato (used to be called Alfred's) is it!! Crispy thin crust, hand crushed plum tomatoes, light (just enough) cheese, olive oil and herbs.... simply delicious. Jessica, Teri, April, Summer and crew are delightful and make you feel like family. This is... More
