Good and convinient

It was directly across Ocean Ave, so I went. The service was very good. My clams on the half shell were good, but I would have preferred if they were served on ice (I guess I'm picky). The tuna wrap was also good. I also ordered a vodka and OJ and I felt that it was too weak for the... read more

This restaurant is directly across the street from the beach. It is very convenient to sit on the beach all day and then when you are ready for a drink and lunch you just walk right across the street. We sat at a table outside in the sunshine and it was great! We ordered 2 fresh squeezed orange juice with... More

A typical beachfront bar and grill. Staff put off by working. Prices reasonable. A lot of locals eat here and get better service than off the street people. Not especially clean. Sticky table top.

Don't listen to the majority of the haters. DJais in Belmar is and always will be a great summer beach bar. The dance music is amazing (especially on Sundays) and always brings an attractive crowd. It's actually the #1 meeting spot for couples on the East Coast. So if your single go here, don't join any creepy dating websites. Most... More

Views of the boardwalk, cars, and people with the ocean right across. The crab cake was good and the Italian chicken sub was okay. Casual seating outside. Paper plates and plastic cups. A bit of a wait to get your order. They need more servers. Service was slow. There is no order or concept of a wait line so people... More

After a day on a neighboring beach we've enjoyed eating on their raised outside porch overlooking the ocean. The service has always been good as well as their food. D'Jais' menu ranges from salads and sandwiches to full dinners and they have a full service air conditioned bar. We always go midweek and around six. To dine with a full... More

As someone who was born and raised in New Jersey, it pains me to have to admit how "Jersey shore" this place this. We wanted to stop for lunch after being on the beach all day and there weren't many options right off the beach. The whole atmosphere is pretty trashy. We ate outside and could still hear the "thumping"... More

Came here on a Saturday night. The crowd is 70% douchey guys 30% snobby mosly ugly girls. They pack everyone in like sardines. You cant even move. Drinks are $8 to $10 for small plastic cup!! People definitely dont dress to impress. Most guys were wearing baseball hats and tshirts with dumb sayings on them. Girls were wearing shorts. I... More
