Solid food. Great location

Sit outside and enjoy the view. Not going to leave saying at the beat food ever, but definitely good food. Shouldn't be disappointed here.

I based my decision to dine at this place by the menu for a romantic dinner by the ocean. We ordered the Fantasia di Mare which had no octopus and dry with hardly any dressing as it states! I ordered the Rack of Lamb which did not come as stated on the description in the menu. It was not herb... More

Great seafood and great appetizers including giant meatball. And really, how many people really know how to make a martini up? They do!!!! You can't go wrong here.

I wish restaurants would have an insert of printed specials that lists their prices. I hate ordering something only to find out it is way expensive- the prices here were generally high but the portions were large as everyone says. Love to eat in the enclosed patio which has retractable roof and windows, tonight it was too hot for that... More

We visited La Dolce Vita for a special occasion. Everyone loved their dinner. We had the chicken parmagia, the shrimp scampi and the veal. Everyone took home part of their meal because the portions were so large. The service was good and food arrived promptly. This is a good choice for Italian food.

A cozy restaurant with outdoor seating. The menu is varied. I had the chicken parmigiana with rigatoni. It was a generous portion. I had to take half home. My friend had shrimp scampi over risotto and it was also a generous portion. The prices were reasonable for this two of restaurant. The service was also very good. I'll go back.

The location of this restaurant is a plus since you enjoy ocean views while dining. I will not be returning for the following reasons: too loud and extremely noisy, crowded entry way, chicken piccata was very bland, not tender, fettucine too al dente and dessert selection limited.

The Jersey Shore has long needed more ocean/shore side fine dining. Most other areas find that beach and ocean views are great places to eat but it is hard to find a lot of good restaurants along the water here. La Dolce Vita could get by just on its view and location but the food, drinks and service here are... More

Restaurant week was again offered by the restaurants in the area. Discounted meals. Since we do not reside nearby we only attend this establishment during this week. This is our second consecutive visit. We arrived on a Saturday for a reservation time of 6:30 P.M. Upon arrival at 5:45 we intended to have cocktails at the bar prior to seating.... More

One of my favorite foodie films is "Big Night", and it is a film full of delicious Italian everything. La Dolce Vita IS that film to me. From the minute you walk in, and see white-clothed tables with burgundy napkins, smartly dressed waiters, and hear some Sinatra playing, you know it will be amazing. Sitting out on the patio area...
