For over 20 years going into Belmar to look at the yachts, never knew such a great place was located across the street. If you like spice but not too hot then this is the place. Hands down best food in Belmar. The interior is a bit scary ( good that is) but the music is great. Superior service. This... More

Ragin' Cajin is probably one of my better dining experiences I've had in a while. A taste of the "Big Easy" in New Jersey. I have heard that the wait here has been known to be hours but if you time it right, it's not that bad. The RC is small, 12 or 14 tables and the atmosphere is very... More

I live right across the street from this place and I have eaten there a couple of times. Its all very average. The food is good but not great for the price. Its in a house that they converted into a restaurant so seating is very limited(i saw only like 8 tables). It is BYOB. The location is good; right... More

Tried this place for the first time. Blackened shrimp, rice and beans and creme bruise cheesecake - perfect!

First time here to a long-time there restaurant. We waited a few minutes for a table, glad we were there ahead of many others who had a long wait. It's not so nice to be eating while realizing that others are hoping we'd (or anyone would) be done "soon". Classic trade-off for a restaurant: take reservations or not. (Still they... More

Great food. Nice vibe. Really loved the live music. Sometimes there might be a large table of diners that aren't there to enjoy the great live music, and they talk loudly to each other. That can be distracting. Bring your favorite alcoholic beverage. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

We decided to go the the Rajin Cajun because we were in NOLA last week and thought that we would enjoy an additional NOLA like meal. The food was good to very good. The meal started with hot rolls that were good but what made them great was the roasted garlic served with the bread and butter. The service was... More

Really good food fresh and tasty nicely spiced. The place could use a little work and service was not the best although they were friendly. Some outdoor seating but you're right against 35.

It was busy but we were seated ay the last outdoor table. It got even more crowded and the line was quite long by the time we left. The beans and rice were good. The seafood was very good but the portion was small. The service was slow and a bit haphazard and the umbrella covering our table was broken.... More
