Yummy by the river

A nice menu with a variance from the typical. Enjoyed having byob and sitting outside. The rice was delicious, the service friendly and we will go again.

Go early.... We got there at 6 and when leaving people in and out waiting. This is winter couldn't imagine in summer. After you taste the food you know why.. Delicious food and nice size portions. Staff pleasant as well.

Amazing food. Tiny restaurant, usually have to wait for a table but well worth it. Go off season and enjoy! Friendly, knowledgable staff able to give great recommendations. BYOB! Dinner rolls with roasted garlic are heaven.

This is a local treasure. The atmosdphere is like being in a friends livingroom. The seafood Gumbo is by far the best I have ever eaten. I am a regular since the first time i have been there. The staff is great and usually a great band while you eat. Although the place is small, you never feel rushed.

We're semi-regulars, and have always had a consistently outstanding dining experience. Charming ambiance and terrific service, they will help you make good choices if you're unfamiliar with Cajun food and allow you to customize many dishes. Some of the appetizers we can't resist include the gumbo and onion soups, Cajun grilled shrimp, and clams. Try to resist eating all of... More

Ragin' Cajun is one of our favorite local spots! The people are great, the food is awesome and the entertainment is sweet! There's also outside seating for the nicer weather and it's great to watch the sunset while you dine. Our little pup is also welcome in the outside seating so it's always nice to go out with the whole... More

We have heard good things about Ragin' Cagun so we ventured to Belmar last Saturday night. They do not take reservations but will put you on a list if you call ahead. Parking is on the sides street near by. The restaurant is in a house with many outside tables. I love the freshly baked rolls. My Red Snapper was... More

Great, well prepared cajun food. Entertainment on certain nights. BYO and outdoor dining. Reasonable prices and great service. Not for the faint of heart if you do not like spicy food. It does say "ragin' cajun" in the name.

New Orleans close to home. the food is great, the music rocks, and the wait staff is fabulous. Portions are huge, It's BYOB which helps keeps down the cost.
