Carmen's hoagies always feature freshly sliced meats & cheeses. Calling ahead is ideal or be prepared to wait in a line...but it is well worth the wait. Hot or cold their sandwiches can't be beat. People are ALWAYS surprised by how much is on the sandwich. Plus their homemade salads are excellent as well. Try the tri-potato salad!

We went there for Father's Day lunch. My husband loved his hoagie, I liked my cheesesteak (lots of meat), and my daughter loved her sandwich. We got there before the rush when the line was out the door. My daughter noticed that they had just about every kind of chip/snack bag.

You have to take a number and you have to wait your turn but it is worth the wait! The hoagies are GREAT!

A very good place for hoagies and subs. We were traveling through and realized the hoagies were almost too big to eat while driving the NJ turnpike. Well worth it.

Lots of character for a small take out only sandwich shop. Food was OK. Got a couple of sandwiches - one hot, one cold - and some sweet potato fries. Fast service and good food.

Take out deli - I ordered a cheesesteak, but my family member got a ham & cheese hoagie. I wish I had gotten a hoagie too! The cheesesteak was good, but the hoagie was awesome! Both sandwiches were loaded with meat & cheese & very reasonably priced for the amount of food. Made 2 meals out of our sandwiches.

I grewup down the street, more like cut through the apt parking lot then down the street. I grew up on going to Carmens, 45 years ago. Every time I visit my my mom I try to get a hoagie and stop by Del-Buono's Bakery. THe best hoagies anywhere. Get them to go in a fisher mens wrap.

Every visit to New Jersey includes a trip to Carmen's for hoagies. My Florida grandchildren couldn't wait for their first visit to Carmen's! We tried to talk them into shipping hoagies to us for Christmas! Love Carmen's! and now they have cheesesteakst too! Oh Yum the Big Daddy is a feast!

I spent the day with a friend who lives right around the corner from Carmen's. When it got to be time for lunch, he reminded me of this place's great reputation. Walking in for the first time, I thought I was at the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. You have to know the rules to get served ... cold cuts at... More
