Visited there this past Friday, 4/11/2014. Minimal wait for a table. Food was good and fresh. As others have mentioned, the prices are a little higher but I would not rate it overpriced given the quality. My only complaint is that I'm a little turned off when you grab for the salt or pepper and your hands get sticky or... More

Very crowded even in winter. the food was excellent but prices high even though I know it's LBI. Service was average at best. I could be wrong but I sensed an attitude like "I don't care if you come back" which may be across the board because their food is so good. Food alone would have been 5 stars.

Seriously if you want great seafood this is your place! Yes the wait is long, but once you get your meal you will know exactly why. The scallops are amazing and so is the crab dip (the best you will ever have). The bar is great too, friendly bartenders!

Actually rather good food but overpriced, noisy (due to bar), and slow service in the beginning. Cindy had the sauteed soft-shell crabs, I had the salmon - both fine. Wine by the glass is expensive (I instead opted for a Coke for $2.30, it comes in a plastic cup). No appetizers/extras; total $80 for two. The dining area is small;... More

My friend and I visited in October. We had a great dinner. Service was very good. We had oysters, delish and fresh. We enjoy their crisp cold salad, with house dressing. She ordered sea bass and I ordered swordfish both specials. They were wonderful. We cleaned our plates. We shared a key lime pie for dessert, best we've had. Light,... More

If you don't want to cross the causeway to the Muddy Crab this is the spot. Same owners better menu and a full bar with great drinks.

Ipswich steamed clams a must. Mussels in all the sauces are amazing. Great drinks and beach atmosphere.

I enjoy this location as a lifetime visitor and as a full-time resident of the island for the last forty years. The place is not especially clean, and service is distracted - even when not busy at all. The food is good enough to tolerate the sloppiness of the service.

Food here is quite good, I have both ate at the bar and also had dinner at one of the tables. Bar food burger was good and at the table service I had a delicious swordfish.

Love the Black Whales crab cakes. They are crab meat and then some. A meal in itself. All of their seafood is great. Our waitress on all our visits this summer was pleasant, attentive and helpful. Plan on a wait in the summer but worth it. Love their seasonal wines.
