The food was in no way worth what we paid. Also, certain things about the service were under par. For example, the salad they served us had some wilted greens in it and came with warm plates. We like Panzone's. Great place for lunch although I think for dinner there are much better Italian places on the island like The Gateway. The sandwiches and pizzas are very good but a little pricy. The four of us ate lunch which cost 50 - 70 dollars. It's cheaper if you get a pizza and share. Good food though!! more
I visited Panzone's for dinner several times back in 2003 and 2004 and their food was excellent. Pasta dishes -- which were large in size and included a house salad -- were tasty and filling. I enjoyed the linguine with red clam sauce (with lots of fresh clams), while my companion (who is a vegetarian) greatly enjoyed his pasta primivera... more
Panzone's is a must do! We visit both the larger Beach Haven restaurant for sandwiches, and the this time, we got a pizza from their Ship Bottom store. First the sandwiches: fresh ingredients, good size, excellent quality. We regularly get the turkey wrap, veal parm sandwiches, and the subs. I'd happily recommend this to friends.
