The food was good but not fantastic. It was very expensive also. Higher end menu with higher end prices. I'm not much of a German food connoisseur, we were just hungry and couldn't find any other place open so we stopped here. Broiled seafood platter was OK. Nothing bad about it, just not work the money. Nice view, right on... More

This place was very good years ago. The place is in the pits, Needs $$$$ in repairs just to bring it up to presentable. Terrible menu, awful bar. Great location on the Barnegat Bay. The bar tenders are friendly, and it is certainly no fault of theirs that the beer selection is one of the worst. Place needs to be... More

Located in Ship Bottom as you come on to LBI. About 7 miles from Beach Haven. Great place to access by boat. Emphasis is on drinks and bar food. Other entrees are average at best and very inconsistent. Has gone down hill for several years but apparently the owners kids have taken over and are trying to upgrade the place.... More

We frequent an excellant German restaurant in PA, so I was anxious to try this place. The service was good, and they took reservations, so that was another plus. Potato pancakes, my favorite, were below expectation, ordered surf & turf, nothing special. My husband agreed. Probably would not return. Indoor & outdoor dining, nice waterfront views.

Went to dinner here with friends we were visiting at the shore. We had a very nice view over the water. Our server (I think her name was Kerry) was attentive and helpful with explaining how the menu worked. Not only do you get a really nice entree but it included salad, soup, appetizer, dessert, and coffee! The food was... More

The food was delicious and service outstanding ! We were all craving German Weinschnitzle and it was fantastic. The waitress remembered we were celebrating my son's birthday and came over with a piece of cheesecake and a candle singing Happy Birthday and the entire wait staff joined in the singing. Beautiful views of the bay and nice backround music. Very... More

Appetizer, Soup, Salad, Entree, Dessert AND Coffee for $17-$19 ! Mahi Mahi and Crab Cakes were tasty. Portions were not small. Sevice was quick. Beautiful view. Wish I would have stayed to have more beer. Would have loved to bring my friends. Maybe next time.

We ate there the week after Labor day and there was only a short wait. There was not a wide variety of German dishes on the menu, but the food was good and the portions large. The wiener schnitzel was good. My wife thought the sauerbraten was average. The service was very good, as was the beer. All in all,... More

We don't have many German restaurants around since our favorite, "Fritzies" closed. We tried this place off season to try and find some good German food. It was ok, large portions and the beer was good. It was not the cheapest place but prices were tolerable. The service was good, food was hot, and tasty. I had the goulash which... More
